- Wrought-iron gates, a gravel drive, a spreading lime tree and afternoon tea on the terrace: heaven. New owner Cécilia runs this 18th-century manor house with a sense of fun and a brilliant eye. There's space, too, in three reception rooms, big gracious bedrooms and 2 hectares of garden, orchard, potager and field – plus geese, cats, hens and two handsome horses in the paddock. There's even a peaceful little armchair on the landing so you can be as private or as jolly as you like.
