Well off the beaten track, but so worth it. Great beer festivals & music, and a selection of draught ales, and ciders, regularly available to die for. Such lovely staff and welcoming of dogs and grubby walkers. I cannot think of a better pub for beer anywhere near. I love it. I just wish I lived closer.

I can only echo the positive comments & high praise already given in the majority of reviews. Lovely rural/quiet location. Very comfortable, clean room (Goodwood) with high quality bed & bedding.....loved the whiskey too! Typical gastropub food.....we had the liver/bacon & the roasted butternut squash.....2 excellent meals, no complaints. Breakfast of same high standard. We would happily return. Highly recommend!
