A wonderful place to stay in. Very relaxing, very peaceful. You can stay the entire day on an hammock with a book, watching the bunnies running on the grass. The place is gorgeous, the dorms are huge and comfortable, and Omoa is such a small town everything is within a walking distance.

This place is incredible! We ended up staying for nearly two weeks. Well worth getting off the beaten track a little to visit this lovely town and wonderful hostel. We stayed in a private room, which had a little table, shelves, air conditioning (for a little extra, but well worth it in the serious heat), a fan and even a... More

Stayed for 2 days in the middle of the crazy Semana Santa. (Even Omoa was full of people, noises and dusts) But at this comfy and relaxing place I could rest peacefully from the crowded world. The room was very spartan not only cheap(a shared fan: only 150) but clean and spacious. .Wifi was somewhat fast and stable in terms... More

Dear J. Hoon thanks for your review. As you mentioned we did not raise any prices for Semana Santa. It is a crazy week for us two with lots of noise from the beach and road. Every Semana Santa ( Holly Week ) we officially have the place closed but if a Backpacker comes along we do have space. Thanks... More

Stay at Roli's! Because of the reviews about this place I approached it with trepidation. It's not a hostel in the all singing all dancing sense, with someone on hand 24/7 to sell you a beer, but at no point does it claim to be that. I found it to be cheap and clean, with a good kitchen and comfy... More

We stayed at Roli's Place for 4 nights. What a lovely treat! We were surprised that there are any negative reviews of this place at all. It was one of the nicest and most well thought out hostel style accommodations we have stayed in during our 9 months travelling throughout South and Central America! We stayed in the private room... Dear KateMcFinn, thanks for your review. It is great to hear your positive words. Sometime we do need this to keep going. As you mentioned we do have a Marine school in Omoa and we do rent out the dormitory and the 3 rooms on the campground side for marine students. This students stay for 10 to 18 days. We... More

We stayed here for one night on our way from Livingston to Utila. Omoa is only small but I found it quite lively and charming. Loads of locals down at the beach eating, swimming, hanging out, it was fun to get amongst it. Roli's was a short walk to the beach and maybe 10-15 minutes from the main road. The... More

Dear 33ae, thanks for your review, I am glad you likes my place and sad you had a unpleasant encounter with my girl. I can not really comment on this issue but I do know she has not allot of patience for some of my clients. She is taking English classes right now and I hope with better communication we... More

I asked for a dorm bed and the lady told me dorm beds were not available. I found out later that there were only a couple of retirees staying on the premises at that time. Single rooms are 150 L a night with shared bathrooms. The lady also asked for 50 L for key deposit but I could not be... More

Having had a long boat trip from Belize to Puerto Cortes my friends and I needed a safe close place to stay before heading on to Utila the next day. We heard about Omoa so got the short cab ride there. After a long day all you want is a clean room and hot shower but Rolis is much more... More

When I first arrived at Roli's I kept thinking "Wow, this place is perfect for backpackers!
