I was undecided about whether to vacation in the mountains or on the beach, so took advantage of Maravilla's option that allowed me to do both. I spent three days in a charming cabin set smack in the middle of a tropical forest, with its abundance of flora and fauna, wide variety of brightly colored birds, and charming little lizards... My boyfriend and I wanted a romantic beach vacation to take together. We chose to go in November, due to work schedules and it being the off season. We found Maravilla through Tripadvisor and thought that having an all included vegan resort would be a great idea, since we did not know much about dining in Puerto Rico. We ended... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are sorry that you had a disappointing experience with us. I am going to address your concerns as you listed them. The food at the beach is always "diy" and has always been listed as such on the website, in the three years that we have had the beach... More

We had researched vegan vacations and chose to stay at Maravilla MT because of the two location options. We wanted to experience staying at a rain forest location, and stay at a beachfront - through this retreat we got the best of both worlds. Our June arrival was definitely an ordeal - we were unable to arrive at our planned... More

Where do I even begin? This place was an absolute dream. We spent 5 days at the first location which was upstairs at the beach house near Rincon. The inside was cozy and the outside was breathtaking. There was a big deck to lay out on, and a gorgeous view of the ocean- which comes practically right up to the... More

My husband and I just got back from a stay at the beach house near Rincon, and absolutely loved our visit. We spent an entire week living off of Margo's AMAZING cooking, and even though I was far more active than usual, I am not surprised to say that I gained THREE pounds!!! The quality and quantity of her vegan... More

My husband and I just visited Maravilla Guesthouse: we stayed at the cottage. What a wonderful experience we had! Margo and Mark are absolutely amazing hosts and Margo's food was beyond delicious! As vegans, eating out, especially while on vacation, is always an issue. Margo made some amazing 5 course dinners for us during our stay, and provided us with... More

We were scheduled to spend our first 2 days on the mountain and 2 on the beach, but when we landed there was quite a lot of rain and we would not be getting there till dark. So our hosts made special arrangements, even though the beach house was not ready, to get it ready and have us stay on... More

My husband and I stayed at Maravilla (split time 3 days beach house and 4 days mountain cabin) for our honeymoon in April. It was wonderful!! I am vegan, gluten free and my husband is an omnivour- we ate gluten free and vegan with one raw day for fun and we both loved the food. We felt so full that... More

My husband and I stayed at Maravilla for the 4th of July weekend. I just don't want to repeat what everyone says... I'll just say its true. A little bit extra: flowers and designer toiletries in the bathroom... an awesome collection of movies, flowers in the living room and kitchen, dish washing soap in an oil cruet, and... everything squeaky-clean.... My wife and I are 100% plant based and we eat mostly a raw diet. Going on vacation can sometimes be difficult trying to find a place to eat. Many places will try to fix you something if you ask, but I did not want to deal with any of this for this trip. We found Maravilla through the website... More
