Good start to our stay when we got upgraded to ocean-view rooms. Being able to walk straight on to the beach was wonderful. This was our second visit to this resort since 2005. There has been little turnover in the friendly staff. Some of them still recognized us. Best vacation I have ever had. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Food is good by Cuban standards and Martino's stacks up against any Italian restaurant in Toronto. Small quiet resort, good for relaxation, but lots to do if you want...and close to Havana. more

Food was fine; price was reasonable, and away from the crowds and noise of Varadero. Havana is only an hour away by taxi.
