Stayed for two nights - Enriqueta and Fernando are very welcoming and accommodating to activities we wanted. We felt the food was okay, not spectacular. They have a dock and their own boat/kayak, but do charge extra for use of the boat to get to the penguin island and kayaks which we didn't realize until we paid. We were generally... More

Los Senderos de Chepu is not much heard of as it doesn't have an online booking site. But I would recommend it 100% if you are to come to Chepu. I'd heard of the beautiful river Chepu and the surroundings, especially with the eerie 'sunken' forest. The area is kind of magical, even for Chiloe. The lovely Sra. Enriqueta makes... More

This is like a homestay, the couple just have a few rooms which they can offer to people wanting to explore Chepu. Chepu is small, just a road with a few houses, no restaurants and no shops. Thats why we chose to include breakfast, lunch and dinner in the room rate for 18,000 pesos. Which was really good value, the... More

Amazing family place, they treat like one of their own and don't hesitate to spoil you. Love the boat ride and the warm chimney fire. I totally recommend it if you want to taste the real chilote life.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We paid 18000 each per person per night full board for an ensuite matrimonial room. (12000 b and B option) Food was delicious - we were overfed lovely lamb and beef dishes, muscles, and salmon caught that day from the river. No sign of the famous onces, and we did email... More

Beautiful and fun place to spend a few days and experience Chiloe. Like others, we loved being welcomed into the Senderos de Chepu family, had great hikes to the beach and in search of penguins, and enjoyed the food which met our mostly vegetarian diets. Beautiful birds and skies, all while in a family setting. Our children, ages 7 and... More

It hasn’t been that long since we returned from Chile, but already I’m missing the warmth and generosity of the people, epitomized by Enriqueta, Fernando, and Vanesa of Los Senderos de Chepu. We had booked a triple, but since they had extra rooms available, they gave our teenaged son a separate room and my husband and I a room with... More

Senderos de Chepu is not just a bed and breakfast in a beautiful area. It is the best place to stay in Chepu. Beautiful, panoramic views. Dona Enriqueta and don Fernando welcomed us in their home as if we were part of their family. We had three rooms, two with private bathrooms and one with shared bathroom. All clean and... More

Los Senderos de Chepu provides a delightful home stay in the country on the west coast of Chiloé, with a Pacific coastline that resembles Big Sur in California. The home sits on a hill with extensive views. Rooms are clean and comfortable with shared bathrooms. Camping is available. Señora Enriqueta prepares simple and delicious meals, while her husband, Don Fernando... More
