We rented an eco lodge and used the kayak. The morning kayak trip through the sunk forest was magical, even daunting at times. The breakfast was really nice and the hosts delightful. They were really interested in explaining the history behind the lodge and how they make it work nowadays. The only downside was to get there: it was very... More

Seemingly every business claims to be ‘eco-friendly’ these days. However Chepu Ecolodge truly employs sustainable practices (such as capturing rainwater to supply the entire lodge with water) without sacrificing comfort. I slept in a soft, warm bed and took hot water showers with good water pressure. Chepu is somewhat remote, presenting a chance to be close to nature without any... More

We spent 3 days at the charming house Eco-Lodge Chepu run by Fernando and Amory and that faces the Puntra river, south from Ancud. We had booked their 2-days Adventure Package (including accomodation and kayak tour in the early morning). It was a wonderful stay: very welcoming and warmful hosts, lively and interesting discussions with Fernando, great food (not only... More

Our visit to the Ecolodge is something we will not quickly forget. The hosts were very friendly and gave us an in-depth explanation of their sophisticated energy and water conservation methods. Smart and functional! After a nice dinner and a good night's sleep, we woke up (very) early for the treat that was our main reason to make the detour:... More

A stay at Chepu Adventures will be a treasure. The place is beautiful and the couple that is hosting the lodge really know what they are doing. They've built an ecofriendly hide-out that you will immediately love. The kayaking at dawn trip is one to never forget. All highly recommended!!

An authentic moment we were looking for during our stay in Chile. The most beautiful sunrise one can assist in a lifetime. Thank you for sharing so much. I will never forget you and Chepu. More than perfect hosts, you are wonderful people. From France with affection.

Our stay at Chepu adventure was just perfect :) The kayake tour has to be done, one of my best memories ever. And the hosts are so lovely, helpful and generous. I'd definitely come again ! Cheers from France. Tom

My husband and I went to Chile for a 3 week honeymoon and due to weather decided that our plans to go further south into Patagonia wasn't in cards. So, as we head north in our rental car, we find out about this lodge in our travel book. We called the day we were anticipated to arrive and even though... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Chepu Ecolodge, a genuine environment friendly concept, great value for the high standard you will find, incredible panoramic view, and the best thing to do in Chiloe: early morning kayaking with the otters! Highly recommended!

I spent a half day visiting the Chepu Ecolodge, I rented a kayak and gear and got great guidance from the owners. We talked about Chiloe and environmental protection in Chile. They were friendly and very knowledgeable.
