The room are quite spacious for Italian standards. The rooms are nicely furnished and each room has different tiles. Ideal location: near the village, but in a quite spot. Nice cakes for breakfast, but coffee and cappuccino could be better. Nice swimming pool (very children friendly). Friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic location, in Scopello, which is the perfect place if you pretend to rest near natural (small) beaches still wild. The best ones are in the natural reserve of Zingaro, and the 3€ entrance fee is a most valuable investment for a trekking day (with stops for baths in the small beaches) in contact with the (almost) untouched Mediterranean nature... You will be awaken around 6am by a concert of the local village's barking stray dogs, around half a dozen of them. Then, the staff will start moving furniture around the breakfast room, which will make your bedroom shiver. An optional perversity is that all female staff members walk on high-heeled wooden soles when all floors are stony, and not... More

This and the adjacent hotel (Baglio della Zingaro) are run by the same management and were built in 2010. Built in a clean, minimalist style with tiled floors and unfussy decor. I've had rooms in both parts of the complex; those in Zingaro have better views as they are higher up the hill. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful. He... More

I am very particular about hotel standards and usually I will try and book the best value 4/5* I can. However I read the reviews of this 3* hotel on booking.com and took a punt and booked it but expecting to be let down somewhat. The 3* rating is about right, but it makes up for it by having a... We stayed on a HF walking holiday and agree with others that the hotel is good if a bit corporate. The staff are fine and the rooms very bright and clean. The breakfast is good with fresh cakes etc but coffee was weak and we only found out on the last day by observing Italian guests that they would make... More

As members of a British walking holiday, we spent a week in the Baglio di Scopello. The facility is a sleek, traditional looking set of buildings. Lobby and bar area were small but adequate for our needs. Staff were generally helpful and were multilingual. The owner/manager was in evidence a great deal and was generous with special regional liqueurs or... More

This is a family run hotel with great rooms most of which have small balconies mine overlooked the side with a small glimpse of the sea, others overlook the front so are less private. The food is excellent - and I'm vegetarian!! I know others enjoyed the fresh fish and meat dishes but the vegetables were fresh and delicious. Even... More

We stayed here for one week with HF Holidays, a group of 28 people. It was fine. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less. We had breakfast and dinner included and - interesting fact - there is no kitchen. The food was catered in. No surprise, then, that most of it was lukewarm and not particularly 'Italian'. Just cheap cuts of... More

Very clean, comfortable Baglio in the center of Scopello. The property is newer and has gated parking. The room was a decent size and again very clean. The breakfast is certainly adequate and served in the center courtyard. Overall a good stay.
