Due to an early random miscommunication, my friends flew out of Sicily a day before me, so I tried to get a room for my last eve in Sicily in the Lonely Planet's "Best B&B in the NW" but they were full and so I stumbled into Casale Corcella... AND LOVED IT. Perched high in the mountains, accessible by a... More

Perfect place if you want to forget the rest of the world for a while! View is extraordinary, the room which we had fulfilled our needs! People which are complaining about the road are surely on the wrong place.... When the sun take you out of the bed and you eat the breakfast than you will understand everything!

Of the many places we visited in Sicily, Casale Corcella was among the best. And when your lodging is one of the finest places visited, period, that's saying a lot. Having read the reviews and seen the photos, we were ready for something special, but the actual experience exceeded our expectations. The view is spectacular. The nature is amazing. All... More

This is a small complex of buildings about 1.5km from the village of Scopello, set high in the hills, with the most beautiful views over Scopello and the sea. It is just far enough from the main road, that all you can hear are the birds. Superbly relaxing. The rooms themselves are rather basic and ours was quite small. But... More

The Casale is a quiet, peaceful place with a spectacular vista over the ocean. There are 1000 meters of winding, pitted dirt road going up the mountain to the Casale, but our rented Fiat 500 took it pretty easily day and night, and we looked forward to the rides up and down. The owners were nice as was the included... More

This is a real hidden gem. The accommodation is in an unbelievably scenic location with stunning views. Its peaceful, comfortable and welcoming. The owners are friendly, but unassuming. Guests are left to explore and relax in equal measure. The accommodation is very tidy and clean and there is easy access to the nearby national park and Scopello with its great... More

of the 5 places I stayed during my trip to Sicily, this was by far my most favourite. The place is an absolute bargain for the price and is in an absolute stunning location. The first thing to expect is the "dirt road" to get to the B&B. it is loated someway up the hill, so travelling without a hire... More

Unfortunately we didn´t have the chance to stay here. We went there and had a look but there were no rooms available at that time. It looks like the-perfect-place-to-stay if you like the category "turismo rural" but want to be close to touristy though lovely Scopello. A stunning view on the sea and the mountains. And a small play ground... More

We were looking for a room in the B&B's in Scopello, and we decide to climb up to this as a last choice, just to compare prices. Once up there, we just freaked out with the place. Simply perfect! Of course, we thought the place was "out of budget" for us, but we asked anyways,... and what a great surprise... More

Simple, clean, comfortable rooms; an undeniably fabulous location; really good value for money too. They aren't kidding about the dirt track though - it will challenge a hire car, and it's a fairly steep and hard 20+ minute walk up to the Casale from Scopello. Good if you want the exercise, not so good after you've had to walk down... More
