At Pier36 you not only get a great location on the pier but the best service you can find in all of N.I. We stayed for 10 nights (visiting family in The Dee for the first time) Not only were we provided with wonderfully clean, well stocked rooms (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cup-a-soups, biscuits if you wanted) but the friendly... We wanted to stay in donagahadee for a night, because it's my dad's favorite place in the world. We stayed in pier 36 and felt welcomed the second we arrived, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Dinner was beautiful (huge steak) the staff were really nice and the manager was friendly and even came out for a chat. Thank you... More

Me and my mother were desperately looking for a place to stay in the Belfast area in the middle of the night, everything was packed and overpriced, and suddenly we found ourselves here in Donaghadee and the incredible and friendliest staff I've ever met took us in with a wonderful single room which was definitely big enough for us two.... I am going to make a bold statement here.... Pier 36 is the best pub/ B&B/ Eatery in Northern Ireland. This was my fourth visit with my wife as a little weekend treat and it didn't disappoint. A bit of a room mix up at the start was quickly dealt with by my wife and I getting the adjacent guest... More

Stayed at Pier 36 while we were over for a wedding. Loved the location and guesthouse was fantastic, rooms were tastefully decorated and really had that home from home feel. The food in the restaurant was superb. just make sure you book a table as it always seemed busy. The staff were brilliant, always cheerful and couldn't do enough for... More

We found Pier 36 by accident. It is located right on the pier. It looked like a normal brightly painted pub from the street and these impressions continue to the bar inside. The bedrooms are lovely. Clean, bright and airy. Ours on the 2nd floor, had lovely sea views and apart from having to climb two flights of stairs it... More

Spent an overnight stay at the hotel mid July on a bank holiday weekend.I will definitely return and next time it will be for a two day stay. Do not be put off by the worn stair carpet in the hall way as you move from the main restaurant to the accommodation area next door or the old fashioned door... More
