After working in the area and staying at The Three Tuns for over three months I would like to say how impressed I was from the first night to the last. I found the service given by the staff was second to none, they were always happy to see me and glad to help. On this occasion i had to... more

Myself and a few colleagues have been working in Ipswich recently and decided on The Three Tuns as a place to stay while away from home in Glasgow. We have received nothing but great service from all the staff, namely Dale and Rob. I, myself am very difficult to please when it comes to food, but they have went out... more

I stayed at the The Three Tuns while working in suffolk. I found the hotel to be very welcoming and the staff, especially the hosts Rob & Dale, to be very friendly and made mine and my colleagues time very enjoyable. As we were working away form home it was noce to have somewhere we could relax at the end... more

I recommend you DONT eat at this place, as the food is overcooked tasteless and well overpriced for the standard of it. The place is dull and filthy with fly's flying around your head and landing on your meal and the music's crap. This explains why we were the only people in there umm! did make me wonder. The only... more

If you look at other reviews of mine you will see that I normally tend to be enthusiastic about the places I stay in. This is an exception. This is a rather unattractive pub - see photo - which has a 90's (possibly earlier) extension with rooms. It may have been nice once - but now the rooms are tired,... more

Although the welcome was friendly, the rest of the stay was awful. The room was adequate but pump action soap, guest basket full of creams from other hotels, mattress lumpy and hard, pillow thin - horrible, horrible. The breakfast room was very very tired with exposed wires dangling out electric sockets and another broken one. The plates, cutlery and glasses... more

I was down from Blackpool for a short break and booked into the Three Tuns with 2 friends, it was easy to find and plenty of room to park right by the back entrance. the bar area itself was very clean and homely, we were met by a lady at the bar who was very welcoming and showed us our... more

We booked this place because we were going to a friends party on the Saturday night, our heart sank when we saw the dark, dingy, smelly very dated tiny room, unfortunately we knew there wasn't much around there and had trouble booking somewhere In the first place. This didn't stop us spending the saturday afternoon desperately trying to find another... more
