We stayed for two nights over a weekend in July 2014, booking late and trusting other TripAdvisor reviews. I'm glad we did, we had a thoroughly relaxing stay, helped by a glorious weekend of sunshine. We were after an 'away from it all' weekend with peace and quiet as top priority, in the main this is exactly what we got.... More

We stayed one night as a birthday present from my daughter and her family. Arriving we were greeted and made most welcome Made to feel at home straight away, friendly clean and beatiful rooms, staff were more than helfull and the breakfast was well presented and ample. Our only disapointment was that we should of stayed longer, this really is... More

My wife and i enjoyed our stay at this almost idyllic hunting lodge. Although off the beaten track it is worth the journey. We stayed four nights. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view. There has been some critiscism by one or two reviewers who need to understand that trip advisor is not a platform for Fawlty... More

my husband and i enjoyed 3 nights in wales staying here the last weekend in may. first impressions like so many of the best reviews here - immaculate bedroom and better than perfect bathroom! the weather was so good the windows in the hotel were wide open- its so still and quiet here it seems hidden deep in the country.... My art group held a painting session here and were served lunch and afternoon tea. Wow what a great old house with lots of character and beautiful grounds and walks. So much to paint and draw there the place is full of character. We had a wonderful buffet lunch and tea served later with cakes. Olive and her staff were... More

This accommodation is ideally suited for the outdoor types, interested in pony trekking, walking holidays etc it's quite isolated, deep in the countryside, and therefore very peaceful and quiet. Although the main entrance is no more than a hallway with old furniture and unmanned, the staff once they know you've arrived are very attentive, and the bedrooms are very clean... More

I tend to be overly generous with my reviews - and I have contributed more than my fair share around the world. Echoing comments expressed by others, I have rarely experienced such rude "service" in my life. And this from a native New Yorker who knows something about rude behaviour. I took my family to the Gower Peninsula for an... More

Being Welsh but having lived outside the Principality for more than 30 years it is always with some trepidation that I return not least because of the seemingly incessant rain. Having had a few hot sunny days leading up to the Bank holiday weekend I did hope for something different from usual. Well the weather wasn't different but the weekend... More

We booked our long weekend after reading your impressive website, but unfortunately 'you are not what you say on the tin'. We write this to warn other potential visitors so they do not have the same unpleasant experience we have had. We had the misfortune to turn up at the real Parc le Breos Farm (next door) and run into... More
