Went here for relaxation, visiting friends, seeing Salzburg and some hiking. Steinerwirt was an excellent base for this. The room was cozy and comfortable and the restaurant provided the best of Austrian cuisine. Can only be recommended.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Good beds. Very clean. Continental breakfast with outstanding coffee (ask for hot milk if you so please) Traditional food, with great repute among locals. We had the pleasure to visit Gasthof Steinerwirt for 3 days in the beginning of August 2010.
