The staff, without exception, were polite, friendly and helpful and we had no problems at all. We aqte qt the3 hotel on one night and the menu was interestung, the food good... more

I have just returned from a 1 night stay with my elderly mother. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful to us. We had a lovely meal - with the best steamed vegtables I have tasted in a long time! My mother's room had lovely views overlooking fields and she delighted in watching the horses and a... more

Ok, on the plus side: - The hotel is set in lovely surroundings, so no complaints about the view. - Staff were friendly and helpful. - The room was clean and tidy. - The shower (no bath) was hot, and the flow of water was more than adequate. - The full english breakfast was hot and tasty. Cereal and juice... more

I don't agree with a previous review concerning food. They must have had a different chef. My daughter and I stopped at the Wroxeter Hotel for lunch before walking to the Wroxeter Roman ruins and had a lovely lunch - amazing desserts. Highly recommend the Eton Mess. The owner of the hotel is an expert on the history of the... more

My fiancé and I came to look around this hotel as a possible wedding venue. We were amazed at the service we received. The lady on reception showed us round, explained every working detail to us both and made us feel at home. She then sat down and had tea and coffee me us and his family. She was very... more

Myself and my fiancee stopped at the wroxeter for the valentines dinner. Also, to see what the service was like so we could decide whether or not to book our wedding there. We were both extremely impressed with the level of service provided by the hotel manager and the waiting on staff. The food was the best we'd tasted and... more

My Wife and I stayed at the Wroxeter for one of the 'Wine Tasting' experiences at the nearby Vineyard (not to my taste!). The hotel was very nice and relaxing; Meals were good; Our room adequate - not too sure about the carpet in the en-suite bathroom though. The staff were friendly and very helpful, considering there was a wedding... more

We visited the Wroxeter Hotel on the August bank holiday weekend. We were booked in for the wine tasting experience at the nearby Wroxeter Roman Vineyard. We arrived early at the hotel so that we could leave our car and walk to the vineyard. A friendly receptionist greeted us and offered us coffee. The photographs I had seen didn't do... more

My husband and I plus our 4 year old stayed at the Wroweter for one night over the August bank holiday weekend. The hotel is situated in the small village of Wroxeter and has some local attractions, plus is a good base for visiting the Ironbridge tourist attractions. Upon our arrival we were met by a very friendly member of... more
