Stayed here for 3 nights to be near TuscanUmbrian sights. Was a little hard to find (turn by the petrol station but it's about 3k from there) but it was a picture. Set amongst the vines of the Fattoria and with views across to Montepulciano it's a relaxing place with a nice pool to relax by. Dinner in the hotel... More

We stayed for 5 nights in this beautifully renovated Tuscan villa. We stayed in one of the larger rooms with an outstanding view of Tuscany. There was a sitting room with a large screen TV and fireplace outside our room. Alba and the other women that run the villa, although they do not speak too much English could not be... More

Wonderful old villa with large clean rooms and very nice view. Very quiet and peaceful. Very nice pool in the garden. A special mention to the restaurant: meals are gourmet style, but HUGE and the selection of wines is good. The staff is very friendly and could give you really useful directions for visiting places in the neighborhood. One little... More

This was perfect for our honeymoon. The dinners were gourmet and better than the fancy restaurants we went to in Rome. The dinners averaged 56 Euros for 2 persons a night but you do not have to eat there. It was VERY AUTHENTIC and wonderful value. The villa staff was extremely polite and professional. However, they barely speak English. I recommend... More

This place is VERY difficult to find. You see a sign that says your entering Aquaviva, then later you are leaving it. Our Garmin gps wasn't even able to combine Aquaviva with the street. I had used booking.com and that provided directions on my IPHONE. I was doubtful when I made a turn onto what at first looked like a... More

We headed for this place on our way from Greve in Chianti, with our GPS which had been updated with the most recent European maps. Unfortunately, there was no street identified as "Via della Grazianella", and the hotel's name didn't come up neither in any possible variation. So we started asking for it at gas stations, but nobody knew about... More

We stopped here when we were on a wine tour and had a great stay. We arrived late afternoon and had a few minutes to stop by the pool. We then purchased a bottle of wine from the bar and watched the sunset over the beautiful landscape. While we were watching the sunset dinner was being prepared. We ate dinner... More

This villa is excellent value for money! Well located to everything in Tuscany. Spectacular views, beautiful heated pool, and our room was very quiet. The dinner was fantastic. Some of our best meals in Italy. Set menu, but they accommodated vegetarian for me. She is a fabulous chef. 25 euros per person for 4 courses and wine offered at very... More

The room overlooking the parking lot, on the 2nd floor with no mosquito net on the window, and tiger mosquitoes hungry like... tigers. On the walls someone has killed more that 7-8. No repellent device either. Pool is very good though not close to the main building. Breakfast room has only 1 window with a view, so the early bird,... More

Have just spent an unforgettable week in this beautiful Tuscan house where nothing is too much trouble for Patrizia and her staff. She is a great cook and we had dinner there every night and were never disappointed. Our son is coeliac and a special breakfast and dinner was prepared for him every day. The rooms are spacious and very... More
