This is a beautiful setting and a great place to base for day trips around Tuscany. The room was very spacious and the grounds are great. Biggest problem was the bed. Worst bed we have ever slept on. Lumpy hard and springs ready to pop through. The bikes left for us to use had all flat tires. The kitchenette was... More

Great location for a rural retreat; first class views of the region. Good space, nice patio for the apartment in addition to pool area and surrounding grounds. Apartment is well equipped but what lets it down is that it could do with a bit of freshen up of the decor and a new mattress. As a couple staying whilst 5... More

Pros: the magnificent view, great swimming pool, close to Montepulciano and Pienza, and hostess Laura was very helpful. Cons: the apartment was kind of shabby. The style it was decorated in is outdated. It could have been cleaner, there were a lot of ants and we did not have enough garbage bags for the whole week. And the wifi was... More

We only stayed here for one night in July and wish we could have stayed longer. We loved our apartment we rented and the views of the countryside it gave from the living room. The guy at check in gave us excellent directions to our winery tour and a restaurant recommendation that was perfect for our husbands! They tried steak... More

The property is situated on a small hill at the end of a narrow lane and is peaceful and quiet. The views are breathtaking and it was wonderful to wake up to birdsong and a lovely sunrise. Our unit had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms - very convenient for our family of 4. It was well equipped and had everything... More

We picked Poggio Olivo in Acquaviva because it was recommended that we should experience agriturismo when in Tuscany, and we were not disappointed. It is only a short drive from Montepulciano, on a small hill overlooking the Tuscan landscape, amongst olive trees and vineyards. There are BBQ facility, a canopied eating area and a swimming pool in the garden. In... More

Poggio Olivo is very good b&b with excellent Tuscany view. The rooms are very big and well equipped, the house itself beautiful, with all you need including swimming pool, grill, laundry room, etc. the price is fair. The beauty of the area surroundings is amazing. Its a very quite place in the middle of agriculture area with olives and grapes... More
