After a crate of Guiness my mate suggested a last minute getaway over Xmas. I suggested Costa Del Silencio in Tenerife for a quiet getaway and we ended up at Palia Don Pedro after finding a cheap deal online, paying £365 for a week for half-board, including flights. The room was clean and had everything we needed. A fridge to... more

If you like to tour, the Don Pedro is an excellent budget hotel. It does have a Titsa bus stop nearby. There is plenty of free parking outside the hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and have plenty of space. ours had a kitchenette with hob and fridge. Not that we needed it, we went all inclusive. The selection... more

I went with my boyfriend for a quick relaxing get away. i was slightly worried about staying here from reveiws i had seen especially as our hotel was change last minute. However on arriving i was pleasently suprised. The room was basic but very clean and cleaners came in everyday. The pool area was nice and was never too overcrowded.... more

The hotel looked more like a 1 Star compared to the 3 Star advertised, and it badly needed updating. The hotel room had a musky smell with untidy wires hanging. The curtains were tread bear and had no lining on them. The cable TV was just 1 English speaking station of euro sport. No English rep ever came on site,... more

Having seen some of the reviews we were a little concerned. However, we have found you often have to read between the lines with some reviews when hotels do not match what guests were hoping for. We knew it would be reasonably basic but wanted a cheap break in the sun and this is what we got! That being said,... more

We wanted some winter sun, not too long a flight and not too costly. Tenerife seemed ideal, but we were not keen on trying the Los Christianos/Las Americas type resorts as loud crowded bars, high rise hotels etc really arnt our scene. Don Pedro offered reasonable price accommodation in a quiet part of the island. You get what you pay... more

We booked on the net for a last minute break in the sun and this was the only redeeming factor of our stay. The place is like a thirty year old, neglected holiday camp. It should not be called a Hotel. On arrival we were told we had to do our own cleaning with buckets & mops installed in the... more

some of the apartments are privately owned, one resident has a fierce dog which bit me, I needed a doctor to attend. written complaints to the resident are ignored. more

This hotel is well below the standard of a 3 star standard. Rooms were basic though admittedly were clean. We stayed in room 442. Wardrobes did not have doors and the bedside cabinet knob was just a screw poked through. The Patio door needed oiling and made a horrendous noise on opening and closing it. Balcony flooring was cracked with... more

We stayed at Palia Don Pedro Hotel over new year arriving on boxing day and left on 2nd of Jan. First impressions of the hotel were not good, there was a strange smell and the place was not very welcoming. The room was ok, very basic, are room was very clean, however the last few days we had ants in... more
