The staff at Mount Engadine know how to combine comfort and service with a relaxed and homey feel. I spent 5 nights at the lodge photographing the moose who frequent the property, and enjoyed every minute of it. From the chef's fabulous meals (I am still hoping she will put together a cookbook so I can buy one), to the... more

Recently stayed at the Lodge for three nights as part of a tour of the Rockies and BC. The isolation of the lodge is one of the many attractions. Facilities, service, location and management of the operation are all first class. The experience of the management team elsewhere in Canada and abroad has clearly contributed to the success of this... more

We had a fantastic four days here ! It's a real gem of a place. Lovely location, great room ( book the Moose suite if you can!) Great hosts who make everyone feel welcome and go out of their way to help. I'm not going to say much more in case too many people discover this place and we can't... more

We absolutely loved this place! This little valley is one of God's peaceful places, beautiful and blessed with a lovely lodge overlooking it. Everything about it was incredible. The food, the innkeepers, the view; just goregeous. Chris and Shari make you feel right at home and more than a guest. It's a very quiet, peaceful place. We even saw a... more

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at Mount Engadine Lodge. Chris and Shari-Lynn, the new managers of the Engadine Lodge are terrific hosts and the staff that they have working at the lodge are warm and friendly. Everyone is made to feel very welcome at the Lodge and the staff take extra steps to get to know each... more

The lodge offers luxury for hikers. The hosts were warm and catered to our every need. The highlight for us was the food, cooked to perfection by Jason. more

A great lodge with incredible views. The best part though is the owners and the employees. They are awesome. The service is top notch and they are just fun and helpful to be around. more

My family and I stayed at Mt. Engadine Lodge in June for 2 nights. We drove on a well-maintained gravel road south of Canmore for about 25 miles. We actually arrived to the Lodge after they had just received 18 inches of snow!! June 18!!! The road had already been plowed! (Most of it melted by the end of our... more

If you like to spend time in the outdoors and follow it up with a little pampering and some seriously spectacular food, then add Mount Engadine Lodge to your list of must-stay places. My teenage daughter and I spent a winter weekend here in February and it was everything we needed to return home refreshed and relaxed. Our days started... more

Mt. Engadine Lodge is a little slice of heaven for outdoor enthusiasts who want their rustic tinged with just the right amount of luxury. It sits on a forested ledge above a green meadow traversed by the meandering loops of Smuts Creek, which creates a wildlife paradise, including a mud wallow that attracted as many as a dozen moose each... more
