My husband and I made a quick visit to France while visiting our daughters in London. We chose a two night stay at La Couture de Boussey when my husband read about it. We were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by Monsier Defound, Houria and Fifi the cat made us feel most welcome. We dined both nights at the... More

We stayed here overnight on a journey and loved it so much we have booked to return again for a longer stay. The welcome was friendly, rooms delightful, food plentiful. Overall we could not fault this lovely place and are really looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed here on our way home from Spain which we found by chance on the internet. We were pleasantly surprised by the attractive building and grounds in a peaceful setting. We stayed in for dinner which was of generous proportions, an aperitif, with amuse bouche, starter with wine, main course with another wine of good quality, we drew the... More

Stayed at Le Manoir with two friends in May 2012 and had a really excellent time. The owners are very friendly and can't do enough to help. We stayed three nights and ate in each night. We had some excellent French home cooking served with wine. Breakfasts include freshly made crepes and fantastic omlette. Rooms are stylish, not modern. Lounge... More

We have just spent five nights at Le Manoir and enjoyed every minute of our stay. As you enter the electric controlled gates you drive up the sweeping driveway to the house where we received a very warm welcome with a drink in the magnificent lounge. We stayed in the room Rosemary, which was very clean and well equipped. The... More

We booked The Manoir based on the reviews we found on TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed. We spent a delightful evening at the Manoir on our way down to join our family in the Dordogne - it is exactly what you would expect from the website. The house is charming and the owner, M. Defond, offers a warm welcome in... More

This was our second stay at Le Manoir after being there last year for our honeymoon, we returned this time for our wedding anniversary. And again we had a wonderful time. Enjoyed amazing home cooked french dinners - highly recommend booking a dinner while you are there. Peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Beautiful rooms. And of course fantastic hosts! Very easy... Upon arrival we knew le manoir was going to be magnificent. We were a group of 8, 4 couples travelling through France. On arrival we were warmly greeted with nibbles and cider. The dinner we had arranged in advance was the most exquisite French cuisine I have ever had. 5 courses with wine to match and served in a lovely... More
