We came for the bank holiday weekend, travelling over by euro tunnel. The drive was very easy (2hrs from Calais). The hotel is beautifully done and much nicer than I expected for a 3*. Much more like a 4* or even aspects of 5*. It was therefore very good value for money. Beautiful setting, classy room decoration (very Soho House)... More

We really enjoyed our week here - very relaxing in beautiful surroundings. We had very hot weather and the pool was very welcoming and was always stocked with lovely clean white towels. Everyone is very friendly and the service very attentive and there's always a smile. Food was delicious and we really looked forward the breakfasts with the most wonderful... More

We stayed here for one night during our holidays in Normandy and very much enjoyed the stay. The hotel is composed of a number of buildings in a large green area, including a very nice pool. Our room was ground floor and we had a large wooden terrace in front of it. The room was not very big, bur very... More

We were looking for an overnight stop somewhere away from it all but not too far off our route down to the south Normandy coast. This charming hotel fitted the bill perfectly. The rooms are housed in two fairly new buidings in the grounds of the hotel, the timbered building being where you have breakfast and dinner (on the days... More

A super place run by a friendly couple. We arrived on Boxing Day in super chilly conditions on the way to skiing and they extended us a royal welcome. After a few drinks by the open fire we enjoyed a Michelin standard dinner. The presentation and flavours of all courses were spectacular. The whole meal was very well judged and... More

Spent 4 nights here with a small study tour group. Property is beautiful. We had cocktails under the night sky with the group. Had breakfast each morning - with great fresh apple juice. Group had three dinners there and each meal was gourmet. Owners are great hosts.

Where to start? Ah yes the warm welcome from the hosts J-F and Patrick and the labrador, the beautiful setting -- atmospheric too with a former German rocket launch site set in the field...don't worry its not in use so anti-English guests can't launch an attack over the Channel. Select menu but food is delicious and wonderfully presented in a... More

Stayed for one night on return to UK. Rooms are in two small blocks overlooking beautiful tranquil grounds in the heart of the countryside. Very peaceful. Restaurant was closed on the night we arrived (despite having booked!) but the owners booked us into an excellent restaurant in a nearby town. Breakfast was very good however. Hotel decorated in a very... More

My family and I visited during the first week in July on an extended tour through Belgium and Normandy. Our stay at the Clos Masure was an absolute highlight. Having squeezed our vehicle through the entrance gates (part of the charm were authentic touches of character like this) we arrived in the manicured and charming grounds of this country inn.... My husband and I stayed in one of their suites earlier this month. Suite comprises living area (with sofa bed), double bed and bathroom. My husband found the bed too hard but I thought it was fine. We had one of the rooms in the eaves of the accommodation block and there were a few cobwebs where the two sides... More
