Myself and my husband have just returned from a week’s stay at un patio, and we totally disagree with the previous review stating “do not come if you can’t speak French”. We have no French vocabulary, but found Stefan and Michel the perfect hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and we felt very touched... More

We did not like the atmosphere at this B&B at all. The hosts either ignored us or treated us with subtle contempt. We were ignored by the host at the pre-dinner drinks (no other restaurant was open in town that night). Thankfully, over dinner the other French guests were lovely and chatted with us in basic French and English. In... More

The language barrier was probably an obstacle to our meeting. In any case you have been set aside and we are very disappointed that you can write. You have been invited to share a drink offered to all our guests and the meal was carefully prepared for you. Our mission is to welcome guests from around the world and we... More

This really is a gem of a location. I know France and this area fairly well but had not visited Ansouis before, so was extremely pleased to find a gorgeous medieval village topped by a renaissance château. The Patio is hidden in one of the small lanes spiralling up the hill. I was told by Stefan that it is 16th... More

The place is a well-hidden gem in the heart of Provens - the only hotel in the picturesque village Ansouis. The hotel is located in an old mansion and has undergone stylish renovation keeping charasteristic features. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. They prepared a breakfast for us made from locally produced ingredients. The place is very much... More

I really don't think it gets any better than this. Just a few adjectives: warm, friendly, refined, professional, clean, honest, beautiful, charming, relaxing, peaceful..... a wonderful place to go to chill out, eat well, meet people, visit gorgeous little villages. Excellent value for money. Thanks to the 2 Stéphanes & Michel, not forgetting Tigrou the cat. We will definitely be... More

This May we came for a second time to Un Patio en Luberon. We had been there one year before. We enjoyed our stay very much again. We stayed at Un Patio en Luberon in September 2013 for 5 nights. The rooms were roomy and decorated attractively. Our room was called Rousillon, it was located to the front of the property and had a view to the Provencal countryside. The bathroom was well appointed and spacious. Ansouis is a beautiful little village and is a good base... More

A stay at Un Patio en Luberon is a trip highlight. Ansuis as a village has character in spades and tourists in moderation. Not only have hosts Jean-Michel, Stephan and Michel created a tasteful and picturesque environment to complement their special setting, they provide service with character too. Two dinners provided by Stephan were a highlight. As up to 8... More
