My family and I stayed for three days during the low season. The beach was beautiful, clean, and relaxing. We had no problem finding chairs with beach umbrellas, it was not crowded. The shows are in Spanish, but the MC tries to incorporate a couple words of English, so the Americans feel comfortable. You can always find something that you... more

This is our 5th time to Panama. We love the country and the people. Playa Blanca has such great potential, beautiful pools and beach, but was a big disappointment. To make an internet reservation you end up using a 3rd party travel agent, so if there are any issues, the resort just blames the travel agency. Rooms are average and... more

I am just back from 6 days at Playa Blanca and I had a wonderful time. The beach and the resort were beautiful. I read a number of negative reviews on this website before I left and I am glad that I ignored them. I have been to Central America several times (Nicaragua, Belize and Costa Rica) and I found... more

The hotel is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. However, that is where the resembelance ends. Service is terrible, and I mean extremely terrible. Once you're checked in, forget any help from the front desk. People are very nice, but completely unresponsive. When we checked in we were on the first floor with a view of the... more

The best holiday ever. Food, nature, weather, Pacific, staff, beach, peace... Our 12 year old daughter wants nowhere else never again. The best was the really quiet beach and the great buffet, all-inclusive means you don't need money anywhere. And all those exotic birds and plants, really marvellous. Only some other tourists didn't have good tablemanners in the buffet. If... more

I spent two days with my wife and adult daugthers. Food was a major dissapointment, particularly the buffet. We were there on week-days and the restaurant:s' schedules were severely cut-back. The offerings of the snack-bar, the only place serving food during they day between meals. were truly awful, and the drinks, whether alcoholic or nott, were served in small plastic... more

While planning my trip to Panama, I looked through many review on this site and finally decided on this resort. However, it wasn't as nice as I had expected. The rooms were comfortable, but nothing special. The maid left little flowers on our bath towels which was a nice touch. The food was average, could have been better. I liked... more

Our trip was March 9-23. We decided to try Panama at the Playa Blanca Resort and were glad we did. The combination of fantastic weather, food and the availabilty of americanized amenities was a bonus. Check In: Was very quick and curteous and our baggage was quickly taken to our room. Room: First impresssion of the 1st room was pretty good.... more
