Just returned after 11 days. What makes this hotel so special is the most friendliest and helpful staff you could ever meet, nothing to much trouble. Great variety of food, sea view room fantastic. pity the beach is pebbly but everything else more than made up for this. Fourth night cocktail party where manager George introduced himself and his staff... More

Recently stayed at this hotel with my wife and two children. We were allocated two adjoining rooms, with a door inside to allow us to pass easily between them without the need to go outside. We were very pleased at this unexpected feature, and also with the complimentary drinks upon arrival. The hotel was very well maintained. The kids' club... More

We'd been looking forward to a mother-and -daughter half term treat for months and expectations were running very very high; in all cases these were completely exceeded by this wonderful hotel and in particular by the amazing staff here. I've never written a review before and understand their bimodal nature but am compelled to describe how Aquila Rithymna Beach epitomises... More

Arrived back from this hotel and I can honestly say this is the best hotel I have stayed in! Hands down! We arrived around 3 in the morning after a long drive from the airport and we're greeted at the door by the employees who took our cases to our rooms for us whilst we completed the paperwork. We were... More

Just stayed at the Rithymna Beach hotel with my husband for 1 week – all inclusive. What a fantastic holiday. The transfer from the hotel was approx. 1 hour and the scenery en route was outstanding from blue waters to snow covered mountains. When arriving at the hotel we were greeted by staff with a cooling and refreshing drink of... More

What a wonderful place to visit! There is so much to do if you on full board!! Great restaurants and food! The staff are wonderful and very friendly . The only down side is no tea/coffee station in the room or iron and board ! Lots of entertainment for the kids if you are on a full board package which... More

We were travelling in a party of 8 in May 2015 for our parents wedding vowel renewals! Overall the hotel is fantastic, we had rooms that faced the front of the hotel on the 4th Floor (lift is very hit and miss) but sometimes the stairs are needed to work off the food and alcohol intake so didnt cause us... We went with another couple and had a super time. I personally take most Mediterranean star ratings with a large pinch of salt but the 5 stars of this place are thoroughly well deserved. I can honestly say I've never been to a more genuinely customer-focused hotel in my life. The food, facilities, cleanliness were all top notch but the... More

We arrived at the hotel, having e mailed before hand to let them know I am wheelchair bound, only to be put into a room which was unsuitable, we telephoned reception and were told to come at 6 to look at another room. A drink at the beach bar, and a bath later we went back to be taken to... More

We have just returned from two weeks all inclusive at this hotel and although the staff, grounds and beach were outstanding I feel very let down and possible put off all inclusive holidays. I don't know if it is the hotel or Thomson that restricts the all inclusive package but found this most disconcerting. To pay the price we did... More
