My friend and I stayed here in January and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Pulling into the car park at the hotel you're instantly drawn to the small block at the end of the car park and our hearts sunk when we saw these Butlin'esque type rooms. Fortunately we didn't get to stay in them and I... More

Having stayed here several times in the past 5 years, this hotel has in my opinion now hit rock bottom. The majority of rooms need a complete makeover and the staff (including the manager) need a lesson on how to excel in customer service. Our latest issue is they have a habit of overbooking. This has now happened twice. We... More

Dear Sir/Madam. Due to the suspicious allegations of this review we would ask you contact us at the hotel on office@oldmillbath.co.uk. We have no records of such allegations, no records of any overbookings for the months of October or November and no records of such correspondence of that nature as stated in your review with either myself or any of... Upon arrival the receptionist barely looked up from the computer screen and he was quite rude to others checking in/out. You have to pay for Wifi! Our room was very, very tired looking, the heat was on full blast, we tried to turn it down, opened both windows and left to go downtown for dinner. When we came back the... More

Clean rooms and a nice bar but the service really made this. I suffer from Sciatica and the Manager could not have done any more to make my stay more comfortable - from finding a hot water bottle to ease to pain to a no rush check out. I would visit again based on this alone.

We arrived at the hotel and this was the receptionist's welcome: "Hello-your-surname-please?" All one word...and without smiling. Ok, nevermind Going to the room we could notice the floor had not been cleaned recently, but the room was much better: very spacious, with a fantastic view of the river and the bridge, The breakfast was good, but the personnel did not... It's a 3 star so what you would expect and the room I stayed in had a new bathroom which was lovely. Very reasonable priced including a full English breakfast and a lovely location next to the river. It is a short walk to some local pubs and you can walk into the centre of bath along the river which... More

We were so appreciative of the excellent way in which the hotel organised our daughter's wedding arrangements on Saturday 6th December. We felt the manager went out of his way to make it happen so well. The food provided was exceptional as was the attention to detail and all the members of staff , without exception, were so helpful and... More

This hotel has been severely under rated in my opinion. The staff and management were friendly and helpful throughout our short stay. The breakfast was exceptional (full English) as much as you wanted with cereal, fruit juice and continental options. We were offered more tea, coffee and toast by the duty staff. The Hotel is recently under new management and... More

For £62.50 in Bath we can't complain about our stay. We booked 1 night. I was working so spent little time here. The room was relatively small but well furnished in the main hotel and comfortable, although like others writing here, trying to get the shower to work is a challenge you just don't need. My husband had breakfast which... More
