Fantastic restaurant right in the edge of the Cote D'Or beach. Our table was literally 5 m from the shore as the tide was in. Great food in a very relaxed environment. True fine dining quality. Crab & sweet potato croquettes and the vegetable ravioli were exceptional. Duck done in honey sauce on a risotto base was delicious as was... More

Having had this restaurant recommended by the staff at The Raffles resort we were anticipating a very pleasant dining experience. However we never got to that stage! Arriving at the restaurant a snotty manageress looked my partner up and down and said "i'm sorry but there is a long trouser requirement for men here'...... She then proceeded to offer a... More

Ecxellent restaurant, good food, fine dining, nice and romantic atmosphere, professional staff. We can really recommend this restaurant. We went back the day after we had our first dinner here. Two foodies

This bijou restaurant has a great ambiance and is set directly on the beach with nice views. The service is good, if a little over attentive, the food was average for Praslin - certainly nothing amazing. What was really amazing was the exchange rate offered if you want to pay in Euros - every other restaurant on the Seychelles exchanges... More

We chose to eat out of our hotel one night and looked this restaurant up on trip advisor. Upon arrival it seemed nice and low key and it was busy giving the restaurant a nice atmosphere to enjoy dinner with the sound of the waves in the background. The prices were good and the wine we had previously in our... More

We booked a table for dinner at Cafe des Arts restaurant (I know it used to be part of the Duc de Praslin Hotel but it has recently changed owner so it may be owned independently) without thinking much about the type of the cuisine it served. The location and the setting - just by Cote D'Or beach - were... More

Food was slightly above average and certainly not the caliber I expected given the price point and attitude (definitely much snottier than what I care to deal with on a tropical island). Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to write home about either.

We have been at Cafe des Artes @ room Citronelle (which have been re-designed on December 2009 as all other rooms at CdA)..what can I say...there were nothing less than excellent. Metres from the most beautiful beach of Praslin, private, confortable, clean...stilish (great job made by Robert & Andrew Gee) and with a sensational staff. They have fulfill our requirement... We went twice in one week for dinner only to this restaurant owned in partnership with the Le Duc hotel (I believe). The service is absolutely impeccable: the manageress and staff could not have been more helpful. The food was very good indeed -- it specialises in fish, but also had a good selection of other meat dishes as well,... More

We went for dinner only. Service was excellent, and staff very helpful and friendly. Good menu selection, but found prices to be very high in comparison to similar establishments in the area. Being a beachfront independent restaurant I found the "long trousers recommended" advice for men to be somewhat unnecessary and pretentious, given that Praslin is a relaxed holiday island.... More
