Our second visit to Amalia studios in one year. We initially went there in June and then again at the end of August. The studios are set in a very peaceful location but not too far from the beaches and local restaurants, which have improved over the years. The bus stop into town is located at the end of the track. The accommodation... Arriving late at night after a flight delay we were lead along a dark path into the woods. As some of the lights on the path were out, this was strangely a genuine source of amusement. To be fare, taking a torch was advised. When we reached Amalia Apartments we were pleasantly surprised by a warm welcome and a free... More

Been back a week from these lovely little apartments had read all the reviews before we went and wasn't sure what to expect, we were greeted by George and fotis and told if we needed anything just to ask ,I later asked for another pillow and one was brought straight round excellent service. The rooms are very basic (but most... More

OK. Its basic, but then again so are many of the best places to stay when on a small Greek island. The location is perfect. Tucked away down a track nice and quiet (torch essential). Nice clean, comfortable rooms. We stayed so weeks got clean towels almost every day. Room cleaned each day, bedding changed twice. Nice pool and bar... More

We were delighted with our first stay at the Amalia on our 5th visit to this resort. When we next go back to Skiathos we'll stay here again. Yes, it's Greek style self-catering so don't expect boutique hotel comforts or facilities but the rooms are more than adequate and George and his team make you feel very welcome. The pool... More

I rarely post reviews being Ex BA cabin crew, long haul and a Pilots daughter, have seen and been to so many countries and stayed in so many places from 1 star... More

have just come back from a week in the AMALIA APTS koukounaries, skiathos, the good points of this place are, nicely situated in woodland, [albeit up a track for about 300 yards, a torch is a must as its pitch black at night] , the room we had 9B was very nice. the downside is , not enough sun loungers...
