The hotel staff was friendly as expected. They answered all the questions we had and they accommodated pretty much everything we asked for. We even asked for breakfast at 4:30 in the morning and they were able to provide. The rooms are nice and clean and quite comfy for the price. Bathroom was clean but unfortunately the water heater didn't... More

The hotel was in a good location. We stayed at the annex at Amboy street. My groupmates and our thesis adviser found the location convenient as it was a 5-10 minute walk to the municipal hall and the DENR office which was a plus for us since we had to process permits and stuff. The staff were very accommodating and... More

Aside from terrible food served during breakfast, there was one incident when they weren't able to serve breakfast at all!!! I happen to be stranded during the Typhoon Dodong and there was a couple who said they were running out of funds and asked if breakfast would be complimentary, since this so-called hotel doesn't provide free breakfast. While I understand... More

Price The rooms are very affordable, but just like the saying goes... You really get what you pay for here. No frills, just basic necessities. Lodge The resort had less than 15 rooms. It felt like staying in someone's house. The lowest level was for the dining area, the 2nd was the lobby & a couple of rooms, the 3rd... More

Stayed here with my mom. We were given a room with 3 single beds. Around 5 or 6pm after we got back from our tour, the front desk staff asked us that we need to transfer because a group of 6 will be coming the next day and that we will be transferred to a room that is for 4.... More

My friends and I didn't stay at the main Lodge, which is near the seaside. We stayed at the lodge extension (Batanes Seaside Lodge 2) located at the town proper, near the plaza. I definitely would recommend staying in the extension if you're the type to roam around and would like to explore on your own. It's near Abad St,... More

Stayed in this hotel for four days during our trip to Batanes. Most of the staff were accommodating EXCEPT for their front desk head whose name just wouldn't be absorbed by my memory. She was rude to the max and tried to charge us P1500 for a kilo of coconut crabs that were just boiled with no salt added. Another... More

If you are looking for an accommodation in Batanes, I highly recommend Batanes Seaside Lodge. The lodge is located just 10 minutes away from the airport, and close proximity to restaurants and market. It has an awesome ocean view from the rooms and dining area. All rooms are newly renovated so they're impeccable, restrooms are new with hot water, and... More

The lodge is pretty basic. It is a four-storey complex with rooms at the first and second floors, a dining hall at the mezzanine and a roof deck on the 3rd level. The rooms have airconditioning, although this is rarely needed in Batanes. The beds are wooden cots with an adequate 3-inch mattress and a thin sheet. It gets chilly in... More

A friend suggested we try out Batanes Seaside Lodge. My friends and I wanted a nice, clean, and affordable place to stay and the Lodge was a great choice. It was newly renovated and the rooms were clean and nice. The lodge was located right beside the beach and the balcony gives one a great view of the sea. I... More
