Our family with 3 children spend 9 days in end of June 09. We used some time to find the right 5 star hotel. Many of the hotels are too expensive compare to the standard. Moevenpick is the best you can get for under 200 Euro in Crete. Everything was superb! There is just one thing we disliked, and that... more

We stayed at the Moevenpick June 27 to July 4, 2009, and it is a beautiful resort. We had a bungalow room that had a king-sized bed and a pullout couch for our girls (ages 11 and 13). The room was spacious and had a very nice bathroom, including a large shower and a separate tub. There is a large... more

I stayed at this resort in September 2008. This is a 5* plus resort and is amazing! Food Best breakfast buffet ever! Smoked salmon and other lunch items were served there too. We only had breakfast included so we didn’t eat there for dinner because of the cost. There are decent restaurants just outside of the hotel that serve decent... more

In october of 2008, I stayed at this hotel for one night due to usual vacation mess ups. I've had my fair share of experience with hotels and especially resorts, and I can definately say this was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and modern, as well as clean! I understand the... more

We stayed at this resort for 4 nights at the start of September. We were upgraded to a bungalow. The rooms were gorgeous and clean. The food was great - so good that I almost forgot it was a buffet. Loved the beach and the pools. It seemed like it was empty when we were there. Great location, bus is... more

Went here on holiday from 13/08 - 20/08. The hotel was renovated and is under Mövenpick management since 04/2008. The waterslides that you may see on some older pictures (when the hotel was still known as Candia maris) aren't there anymore. The renovation is beautifuly done; the rooms are modern with very good airco. The bathroom is very nice, especially... more

We stayed for 1 week at the Movenpick Crete. It is an excellent hotel with excellent service. The best thing about this hotel is that it has a private beach. The rooms are big and very comfortable, and the food...every day we were telling ourselves that we'll eat only a salad or fruits but the offer was so divers and... more

Me and my partner got back from a week long vacation at movenpick crete from 16/8 to 23/8. They claim you'll be indulged and spoiled...and you truly will be! We arrived real late (oevr midnite) and were immediately welcomed at the reception to be upgraded from the standard garden view room to the more plush bungalow room. once we were... more

We have just returned from a four-night holiday at the Moevenpick in Crete, and we can only praise this excellent hotel for the truly enjoyable time we had. It is beautiful and relaxing, the staff are kind and helpful, the swimming pool and the sea are lovely, the food is good, the beds are comfortable - what else can you... more
