This trip was booked last minute to escape the gloomy weather in the UK and we just wanted somewhere to sleep and to feel the sun on our skin. When we book something low cost, we don’t have great expectations; however, we were delighted with Alykanas Village. Transfer from airport is about 40 minutes. One of us went straight to... More

I travelled to Alykanas Village with my family - a 4 year old, 2 year old and husband on the 15 - 22 June 2012, and we loved it. We were giving a beautiful room No. 173 which had 2 double bedrooms and a double balcony which overlooked the sea. The kitchen facilities were good and consisted of a microwave... More

I booked a weeks holiday to the Alykanas village through the Thomson website purely because it was a good price for the star rating. The flight from Gatwick to Zante (they call it Zakynthos) took 3 hours. The coach transfer took 40 minutes. First observation-this is a families/children's resort...if screaming kids running around scraping their trunki's along the floor will... More

Had a great holiday this year at the Alykanas Village. Reps and entertainment team were great. We were lucky with the weather and was 30 degrees most days Beach great for kids as it is a stones throw from the apartments and the water is so shallow and goes out for miles! My children of 3 4 and 6 loved... More

I reviewed this hotel last year. I was very disappointed with my room then, which was a 2 bedroom appartment. This year the holiday for 2 adults 1 child and baby was only £450, so I thought I would give it a go for that bargin price. I paid £1750 the year before. I had a studio appartment this time... More

The hotel has been refurbished and you can tell a lot of money has been spent on the rooms, all nicely decorated with new beds, furniture and curtains. The kitchen was small but functional for making snacks. It did have a new kettle but a very old microwave, but at least it had one which I was greatful for travelling with a baby.... More

After arriving at the hotel we were promptly booked in and given all the usual greeting paraphernalia, including a map of the hotel to aid the location of our room. Upon entering our room we were delighted with the location. The local area is filled with the usual array of shops and restaurants. Evening meals were between 30 and 40... More
