Our family of four (2 children aged 11 & 9) and two adults have just returned from a two week holiday at the hotel. Whilst the location is fantastic, literally on the beach which is beautiful with lovely clear water, we were disappointed with the hotel especially for the amount of money it cost. The room we were staying in... More

Travelled with my wife, daughter and Granddaughter. Hotel is ideally set up for families, right on the beach and lovely big pools. Beautiful views over the bay. Very good Thomson team, both entertainment and kids' club (my Granddaughter loved it!). If the entertainment team are not your flavour then the beachfront pool is probably best for you. I've seen loads... More

Its that good. The thomsons team were fab. The kids loved them from kids club looking after my disabled son to the entertainment team involving everyone in the pool party. If you dont want to listen to the pool entertainment you can relax by the pool overlooking the beach. It is perfectly situated just a couple of steps off the... More

We have just returned from our first visit to Zakynthos, and having stayed at the Alykanas Village, have only good things to say about it. The hotel was very friendly and the staff were happy to cater to our needs, the rooms were a nice size and well equipped, and were kept clean, although on one occasion our towels were... More

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Alykanas Village Hotel and we have had an amazing time. The hotel staff from reception to bar staff are always friendly and helpful, cleanliness is of a high standard. My children loved the Kids clubs and have fallen love with the majority of the staff, as they are all... More

For a family orientated holiday you cannot beat Alykanas and the Village hotel. Ok the accommodation is basic Greek but it is clean, friendly and very welcoming. We have two kids aged 7 and 5 and they loved every second of the pools, the sea, the horse and cart taxis and the eating out. Everyone was super friendly and cheap... More

The hotel is spotlessly clean, our room was very spacious(803) overlooked the large pool and the beach, plenty of utensils to use if you fancy cooking, but there are plenty of cheap nice restaurants in Alykanas to choose from. The only problem we incured whilst staying here were really rude people who take up about 6 or 7 sunbeds usually... More

Stayed here with girlfriend and 16 and 9 year old kids. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which faced the sea and second pool. Bedrooms were nice with lots of storage, double bed in main and two singles in second. Big full length balcony. Kitchen diner was basic but fine and all clean. I was expecting a lounge / sofa... We (2 adults 2 kids 8 & 12) stayed at the Alykanas Beach Resort for a week in August. Upon arrival, we were impressed. The receptionist was friendly and check in was quick. Our room was in a good location (154) with a fab sea view. Our only complaint about the room is that the beds were rock hard which... More

We are here currently! The hotel is fine with the exception of a lack of sun beds considering the size of the hotel. The hotel team are friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and tidy. THE THOMPSON TEAM:- If you are looking for Pontins / Butlins wanna be's this is the hotel for you! The team have a poor knowledge... More
