To start with, I am surprised by some of the previous reviews. Having read some of them I was dreading arriving at the alleged hell of broken beach chairs and a swimming pool full of dogs... Well, I needn't have worried. The hotel was pleasant, as were the staff, and clean. There were no loud parties or discos that I... More

Olive Press is an old olive press factory, that is renovated to a hotel. Building´s history has been honored in architecture, which is is also disadvantage because for example there are only few rooms with balcony. Location of the hotel is excellent, it is right next to the beach and only walk away from Molivos center and harbor. Rooms were... More

We spent some days in the beginning of September 2013. The location and the place are very special. It is also a good place for children. Reception (Mrs Maro) and the Management have been very friendly to us. We would like to visit the place again.

We came with a bunch of friends at Molyvos in order to exprerience the scenic sunset. And ofcourse we picked a hotel that offered us this great view from our room. The hotel is stone built and this adds to it's traditional look. The amenities are pretty simple. But I don't think that it is so important when someone is... More

The hotel's position is perfect. But the service of the reception was slow, The room (sea view) had a great view and very nice balcony. The room itself was sub-standard.The breakfast was really poor. Luckily we had brought our own breakfast to make up for the deficiencies. The most important: there is no internet in the rooms, in the lobby... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and the second time my accommodation has not been in the main block. The location of the hotel and main building are very nice. The pool and beach area are also good. The service was fine however staff did not seem as friendly as others working in tourism in... More

The hotel's position is nice. But the service of the reception was rough, especially the afternoon shift). The room (sea view) smelled mold and was not cleaned correctly, small pieces of the wall were over the tables, The tv remote control was so dirty that I could not touch it, it was disgusting!! The breakfast was really poor. One advice,... More

We have chosen this hotel as it is different from others - before it was an oil factory and turned to hotel. Buildings and garden still has this shape and it is charming. Made of stone they are like some little castle. I like it a lot. It is really cute and charming. We had a room in the main... More

Arrived late sunday 21.30 and was shown to our studio apartment. First thought, what! OK we were tired it may look diferent in the morning. We were told we could pick up our luggage later at the reception so we walked up to the main road to buy water and a few other items. On returning we found our luggage... More

Location is great. Especially if you get a room overlooking the sea. But no shampoo in the rooms, even if you ask. Even soap was not replenished in three days. Old bathrooms. Lousy pool and broken beach chairs. Not much maintenance. Non working AC. (But you get nice sea breeze with open windows) If you don't mind the above go... More
