Just back from a wonderful stay in Crete. Renieris Hotel was perfect and it deserves it's number one rating. It is pretty, fresh and spotless with a beautifully appointed pool with super views. We ate by the pool on several nights and the food was simple and delicious. As it was our first stay in Crete was sought information and... More

The room was so clean, yes I look everywhere lol. Excellent choice for breakfast. Family run business who make you feel very welcome and nothing is to much trouble, it was a pleasure to meet them and will be staying again I hope. Should be more than two star as I have stayed in some places with four and where... More

Forget the rating. Five star all glitz and no soul this hotel is all soul forget the glitz.Friendly helpful family of hard working people. Well kept gardens, spotless pool, clean rooms, linen and towels changed daily . Quite and peaceful. Good breakfast and day time snacks were good. The 97 steps I managed despite having breathing problems although probable not for... More

Just back from return visit to this amazing wee hotel! Had a beautiful room on the top floor overlooking the pool and the beach. Our welcome was warm from Georgios and Stella, the hardworking family team who own this gem of a place! As has been stated before on the site, nothing is a bother to anyone here. Everything in... Myself and my partner booked this holiday 5 months before arriving purely based on all the great reviews on Tripadvisor! The Holiday was great from start to finish, we arrived very late but Georgios very kindly had an envelope left out for us at reception with our room key and details about breakfast in the morning. Our room was spotlessly... More

Booked 6 months in advance and was even better than expected. The family are fantastic, cannot do enough to help make everyone happy, cannot wait to return next year. Amazing sea views, buses at bottom of 100 steps will take you all over the island.

The Renieris hotel is well maintained, very clean and has good food at the poolbar and free wifi everywhere.Breakfast provides a large variety of choices.Good beds and clean sheets every two days.Only the shower is a bit tiny, and the shower curtain won't let you go.. The location is a bit isolated, I think you do need a car, but... More

We have just returned from 10 days at the Renieris Hotel and would highly reccommend it as a great value, small hotel to enjoy a beautiful part of Crete. To echo the hugely positve reviews of the Renieris hotel, we found the hotel spotlessly clean and the gardens and pool area fantastically well maintained, making relaxing around the pool very... The relatively overanked hotel with 31 room overlooking the K.Stalos bay is on steep hillside and unless you have a car, you have claim 99 steep steps anytime you go down to the beach or town for shopping or dinner. We did it 6 x a day ( shopping, beach and dinner) and found it out to be not too... More

Recently returned from a wonderful week at the Renieris Hotel in Stalos, Crete. It completely lived up to every expectation. If you want a holiday away from the August hordes and you can stand temperatures of 36C+, this is the place to go. Don't want to say too much however as I would like this place to remain a secret...
