Very nice place, with an amazing view of the river Douro. Room was very clean, comfortable and with old-style wood furniture. The breakfast was home-made, delicious and plentiful. The owners are very kind and warm people. This "pousada" do not have a restaurant, but the owner suggested us a good "tasca" nearby.

Fantastic view! VERY nice casa. Quiet and relaxing. Approx 1 km from Mesão Frio village, you can walk but be careful, the traffic can be crazy and it gets dark in the evening. Great place to stay for a few nights. Good breakfast, however it can improve. The room was ok, specially for the views. The house is beautiful and the swimming pool gives it a special country touch. The location is spectacular, the 'casa' is beautiful, very comfortable and very clean. The owners and staff are very pleasant. The breakfast area is beautifully set with delicious homemade cakes and jams and a lot of other things. That was a 5 star stay!
