This Hotel has just about everything a traveller wants....enough space to unpack, very good bathrooms, beautiful gardens to be looked at from Hotel windows, breakfasts with everything, English Breakfast, Continental, etc. As this Hotel is set in the countryside, there is no traffic noise or excessive lighting from nearby towns or cities. Costs were very reasonable which created absolute value... More

I love staying in old buildings and always choose one over a modern hotel, but I do still expect modern comforts like wifi, which frankly, is essential in this day and age. Unfortunately wifi is only available in the reception area of this hotel, not in the room, which is inconvenient. The staff tell you that it's not available in... More

Next to the beautiful wine farm (Bacalhôa Wines of Portugal) and just a few minutes from Setúbal city (wonderful to watch dolphins, birds and eat top quality fish) and from beautiful beaches this is a quiet place to stay. This old-fashion hotel is perfect for someone looking to a relaxing stay and the Azeitão region is known by its cheese,... More

In this propriety we felt like noblesmen. The domain is gorgeous. The hotel has good rooms, clean, all facilities. The restaurant has a terrace full of flowers. One can dine near myosotis and bougainvilla. The staff is friendly. A long alley goes up, on the top of a hill, where the pool is. The view is splendid, we admired the... More

We stayed for 3 night, the staff was very helpful and friendly.... Nearby Arrabida national park, easy to find and very good location to visit Setubal, Palmela and other city's nearby, ....very good overall.

This was a clean, well-kept hotel in the more rural area of Portugal. We stayed there for three nights while attending a friend's marriage celebration. Staff, especially Luis Gomes, were very help. Food was excellent--had breakfast there every day (included in price of the room) and dinner one evening. It was helpful that there was a small elevator since climbing... More

The setting at the "Hotel Club D'Azeitao" is sylvan and green. One can really feel the long history of the grounds. The cobblestone walkways bely it's centuries old history. Visually the rooms are slightly somber & dated. However, the scene outside- of olive trees & grassy lawns- is relaxing. The maroon tiled floors are easy on the eye. However, such... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights while we attended a music festival in Sesimbra. The place is charming, near Setúbal and Palmela, both locations well worth visiting. A visit to the Arrabida is also in order as it it beautiful. The hotel is on what once was a palace but it's very well kept and clean. The staff... More

Stayed here for the second year running as part of a large group. The hotel has a certain charm to it. Staff are welcoming and most helpful. Rooms are clean. swimming pool is adequate for size of hotel but they need more sun loungers. Grounds are kept clean and tidy. All in all a nice hotel we will return next... More

My wife and I spent one night here. We did not come here for the club, but mostly for a place to sleep before flying out of the airport the next morning. Some of the things in the hotel are very nice, but other things really detract from it. Pros The lounge was nice Decent enough breakfast buffet. The eggs... More
