Now we've added a rescue dog to our clan, holidays have to be picked very carefully. Thankfully with places like this it's a doddle! Spacious, clean en-suite rooms on the ground floor for dogs and their owners while my daughters enjoyed the sea view from their room above. The rooms are arranged in a purpose built courtyard behind the pub,... More

We have never been to the gower before and found a gem of a place at the kings head, all the staff were very helpful and pleasant and the food was plentiful and on the whole delicious, salt marsh lamb shank melted in the mouth and fell off the bone, steaks and roast also good, wasn't keen though on the... We usually camp at the hill-end campsite in summer but as it was a bit chilly we thought we'd give the pub a go. Great rooms, nice big bath and views outside over the dunes and beyond. Location wise it's a mile or so to the beach but we like the walk! The pub itself does good food; great value... More

Stayed for a quick 2 day midweek break, a bargain through Secret Escapes, and had a very enjoyable time. We were made to feel at home by all the staff, as were our 2 dogs. They are permitted in some of the rooms, and in to the bar area of the pub, where the same menu as the restaurant is... More

I booked at the King's Head as a Christmas present/Anniversary treat. We arrived, with our little dog, and were greeted very warmly. We stayed in room 10, which was enormous! Lovely and warm with the underfloor heating. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage for all your belongings. The bath could double as a swimming pool for... More

Second stay at Kings Head, took friends this time, and of course our dear doggy Teilo, who was most welcome in the accommodation and the pub. Lovely food, v friendly and helpful staff, excellent jukebox! All this and located in an area ideal for hikers and surfers. Walked to Rhosilli and back, breathtaking views and a nice drink when we... What more can i say...We recieved a very warm welcome (even shown to our room and had brief fill in on how things work) at this delightful family run hotel/pub in a beautiful and peaceful village with sea views across the field. Our room (26) was lovely and had a huge bed and a beautiful bathroom. We stayed 2 nights... More

Three of us stayed wanting a quick break after Christmas with some walking. All the rooms were well appointed and large with comfy bed. Bath enormously deep and as my shower failed to work for all three nights even after reporting it was lucky it filled quite quickly. Breakfast was excellent and coffee served in individual cafetieres so you choose... More

Great place to explore the Gower peninsula. We spent two nights here in January. Room was superb with an absolutely huge Califonia? King sized bed and bags of space for our stuff and the dog!!! Good choice at breakfast with a help yourself to tea/ coffee/toast arrangement. Evening meals offered a good range of pub food - my steak was... More
