We visited this pub as a last minute change of plan. We were really pleased that we did. Excellent food, service and the steak is highly recommended. Thank you for saving our anniversary meal. The parking is good and dogs are allowed in one part of the pub only. This is pub is worth a visit if you find yourself... More

We stayed at the King's Head last weekend - our annual Christmas away weekend! I am gluten free and always a little wary of staying away or visiting new places ... I needed not have worried! The King's head offered excellent service and an excellent attitude towards a gluten allergy - nothing was too much trouble for the manager who... More

We had a special week in sunny Wales with our puppy, Rosie, and our stay here was enjoyable. The rooms are lovely and the pub is part of a micro-brewery chain which meant my husband was fully satisfied. Funnily he spent the week trying the good choice of beers altho Gower Gold was his favourite and I was dissappointed as... More

Lovely little hotel and pub in a super location. Ground floor rooms welcome people with dogs, and part of the pub (across the car park from hotel rooms so nice and quiet) lets you take your dog in to have a drink or meal. A short walk for non-disabled gets you to the beautiful sandy bay where surfers can be... More

Stayed 4 nights in November. Huge comfortable room. Pub was clean and great food at reasonable price staff very friendly. Breakfast and main meals were well cooked and good portions. Car park which you walk across to enter the pub was very dark and on a slope which may be an issue in icy or snowy conditions. Overall a good... More

We spent a weekend away at The King's Head. Great little hotel/pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the pub was very good and reasonably priced. The second night I had a Welsh beef sirloin that was cooked exactily the way I ordered it and just melted in my mouth. We were there in the off... More

This pub / hotel/ restaurant was lovely. The food was exceptional and the restaurant staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms, our was in a cottage the other side of the car park were comfortable clean and a high standard but oh dear the pillows were just awful. Cheap foam bits in one of them... More

The hotel rooms annexed at the back of the pub are very nice. Warm, clean, tidy and well kept. Under floor heating meant the room was too warm if anything as it was mild weather. The local walks are awesome both over mountain, and to the lovely beaches that are accessible if you like a long walk - though you... More

Accommodation blocks well away from pub where you have breakfast (particularly when its raining). All food in pub was good standard with varied choice and not expensive; glad as it was the only option within miles. Our room was large and finished reasonably: bed not comfortable and only one chair. The accomm service was lacking e.g. not making up room... More
