We arrived late having only booked a few hours earlier. Rena welcomed us with open arms. We drank a beer with her, I jumped into the glorious pool (with diving board), and she have us lots of info about things to do. We had originally only planned to stay one night but ended up staying 3. A short walk down... More

We were first time visitors to Andros and, fortunately, we found Villa Rena in Batsi. Rena made us very welcome, like a member of her family, and we were so comfortable we extended our stay. The studio was quaint and contained everything we needed, including a lovely little terrace, perfect for a sundown glass of wine. Breakfast was plentiful and... More

The location and view were great but apparment was dirty and could use some repairs. Very basic rooms. Wifi didn't really work most of the time either. The management was really professional in helping us find a room, and we did appreciate that. There is also great little family run restaurant nearby that we really enjoyed and are surprisingly inexpensive.... More

Although the owner was friendly, the room was awful. Toilet area was not so clean, you couldn't walk inside the room without footwear, under the bed there were killed insects and down from the TV furniture there was a tennis ball and some receipts from the previous customers which means they have never cleaned the area!

We arrived without any reservation in high season and fortunately she had a room available. Room 4 is spacious and clean, has a good bed, and a small kitchen. It's traditionally decorated in yellow. The view you get from the balcony is the swimming pool, the garden and at the horizon the sea. Supermarket, bakery, beach are 5 minutes walk.... More

When booking this place I was mildly put off by the review two before mine. However, I decided to use logic to filter out that review. I've been going to Andros for 25 years. The family owns a place there. Andros, like most of Greece, is mountainous. It's also been inhabited for thousands of years. There are going to be... More

This is a special place to stay in Batsi. From our room (balcony with view of sea), to the gardens, to the pool area complete with grape-arbor covered patio ---the facility is wonderful. Rena, the owner, is the heart and soul of this place. She treated us more like extended family than regular hotel guests. Villa Rena is a quiet,... More

Arrived here with two young children expecting to be close to the ocean for one, and have enough space for all of us to sleep, especially my two year old. The room was tiny and nothing like it was described to me, and I speak Greek so made all the arrangements personally over the phone!! Left our suitcases there for... More

We have stayed at Villa Rena several times, Jonny and Rena have become dear friends. Our stay was as always special, we only wish we could of stayed longer. Nothing is too much trouble and it's a great place to relax and chill by the pool.We always have our holiday September/October when the weather is always good and it's quieter... More

We (2 couples) stayed for 2 weeks at Villa Rena: our stay in paradise. The rooms, the linen and the pool were very clean. Our hosts friendly and helpful. Rena gived us all the info about the island, loaned her own car for our purchases. If their was something missing in the kitchen of something to repair Jonny or Rena... More
