We walked up to this spot and just had to stop a night because of the fantastic hilltop location. Fantastic views of both east and west coasts. The sunset is magical and really not to be missed. King Wilhelm used to regularly visit here for the view...I can see why. The hotel itself has a glorious faded elegance if you... More

We had booked 2 nights at this hotel before meeting up with family on the other side of the island for a week in a villa, and it more than came up to our expectations. I particularly like 'faded elegance' in a hotel, which had more of an atmosphere of a minor stately home with its old furniture and pictures,... More

Atop a hill and with great views out to the west. Our travel blurb had promised romatic rooms but ours fell well short of the mark. The room was adequate but not special. The staff were friendly and hepful and we had a nice meal on the terrace as we watched the sunset. The hotel provided blankets to snuggle into... More

Our stay started poorly, with a stand-in receptionist giving us an abysmal room in the attic. This did not live up to the promise on the web site or our walking tour company. It was tiny, with two hard single beds, a minute bathroom with no shower curtain, not even a plug in the sink. Mouldy pictures, rusty chairs on... More

Stayed here with my wife and a couple of friends for a week. The staff were wonderful and obliged us with our every request. The view alone is worth the visit. We were even allowed to use our room to shower in after a day at the beach before our late flight home. Ruairi

This hotel is a taste of a bygone era. It's a beautiful old building that runs at its own pace. Evocative of times gone by and an unchanged Mediterranean. It sits above the village in a lovely, isolated hilltop location from where its easy to stroll down for the evening. I'd thoroughly recommend it as a base from where to... More

I walked up from the village to Kaiser's Throne, saw the hotel and its stunning position at the top of the hill - and booked-in for the rest of my stay on Corfu.. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast buffet offered great variety. It was the end of the season and there was no other food... More

The Levant has a fabulous location but the hotel is looking a bit jaded our bedroom certainly needed some decorating,on the plus side the breakfast was the best we had on our visit to Corfu. I would not recommend the evening meal as this once again was not what you would expect from a hotel of this standard, although watching the... More

Having just returned from our stay at the Lavena hotel I can tell you that it is absolutely wonderful. The hotel its self is beautifully furnished, the rooms are comfortable and all have a small balcony overlooking a fantastic view of the sea. Both me and my partner were very surprised how nice it was considering how little we paid,... More

Elegant, simple, classy and comfortable. Lovely spot, understated, relaxed ambience; excellent food. The location of Pelekas itself?: a Wild location: nervous drivers need not attend Pelakas! Adventurous passengers, hang on to your hat. Pelakas is charming simple village atop hairpin turns: it's engaging; filled with music, good food, nice beaches. Levant is a lovely place to stay in Corfu. I'd... More
