We stayed in this hotel a total of four nights pre and post cruise. We found the standard rooms to be quite average for the money charged, but still clean and nicely appointed. We upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the gardens and horizon pool - much better - but you PAY for it! The location of this hotel, close... more

The location of IC Tahiti is excellent, as it is only 5 minutes from the airport on taxi (costs 1800XPF at 2am in the morning). We arrived at IC Tahiti at 2am, due to late Air New Zealand flight to Papeete. We checked in quickly and were offered a juice. The porter then picked our luggage, and escorted us to... more

This was the first hotel in our 10 night Feb 2009 honeymoon in FP (see other reviews for IC Moorea, IC Thalasso Bora Bora and Le Tahaa). We stayed here just for one night, and it was located near the airport. We had the breakfast buffet, which was very busy, but a short wait. View from the main restaurant is... more

This hotel is really beautiful, and our room was amazing. We stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay a couple days before a cruise or before moving on to other islands. We loved watching the sunset from our deck and snorkeling right off of it. The main restaurant was okay,... more

The Intercon is Tahiti is often used as a transit point for the other more glamorous locations in French Polynesia but is actually a resort that can stand as a destination in its own right. We had seven nights there on the way to and from Easter Island and it was memorable and luxurious. The gardens are mature, lush and... more

Intercontinental Tahiti is a great resort. Great spaces and landscaping, traditional architecture and all the standards one could expect from Intercontinental. The food is very nice, room service works excellent and the service staff could not be more attentive. Our Overwater bungalow was clean, comfortable and on a great location, overlooking Moorea. This hotel is a real resort, worthy not... more

The resort was probably very nice 10 years ago. It needs a lot of maintenance. The over the water bungalows were not in the same league as those of the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. The food was very good, both room service and "Le Lotus". The reception staff was generally unfriendly. It is also right next to the end... more

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights before heading to Bora Bora on our honeymoon. The hotel grounds are well kept and the staff are friendly. The checking in process was efficient and we appreciated the fruit juice that was given to us. The hotel breakfast that we had here offered lots of variety and much better... more

The location right by the shore, is excellent, with gorgeous views of Moorea. The room was superb, and the hotel grounds extensive and beautifully kept. It was what you should expect for the high price. The only major fault ws that almost nothing is included, even in that high price - no breakfast (and there's nowhere nearby to get any,... more

This hotel is past its sell by date. The standard rooms and public spaces could do with a good sprucing up. The dining room is seriously understaffed; consequently, the service is excruciatingly slow. Tahiti is relatively close to the fabulous wines of Australia and New Zealand. But the French rulers make sure that the emphasis is on French products, which... more
