This was our second visit to the hotel and, once again, we were not disappointed. It was great to be welcomed back by the friendly receptionists and staff and we felt at home immediately. Our comfortable rooms were spotlessly clean, as is the whole hotel and staff work very hard to keep it that way. We enjoyed sitting on our... More

The hotel itself is very unique because of the location, depending on the travel bureau You may be asked at the reception desk to pay extra for a sea view room with a balcony. Food is great, and there's plenty to choose from. Note that it is the perfect place for wind surfing - so after summer - there is... More

I was our first time in Tenerife so, didn't know what to expect. We arrived to a lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room over looking the sea was very clean. We enjoyed the food. Met lovely friendly people and joined in the day n night entertainment which, is a first for us. The guy doing the entertainment... More

Beautiful art deco style building in a prime spot right on the sea in lovely El Medano. It does not have parking (to be fair, it doesn't claim to) but if you are in a car, you cannot drive up to it so expect to walk with your luggage. Rooms clean and functional. We had a room overlooking town -... More

We recently spent 7 days at el Medano Hotel in a room with balcony and sea view. It was great going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. The location of the hotel was fantastic right in the centre of the town. The hotel has an old world charm and has a super deck for relaxing on... More

People are very friendly. It is nice to stay there. Food is very tasty, but you have to pay for wine separately. There is a luggage room. Good location. The buss stopp is nearby. You can go to the airport there but have to change the bus.

I arrived and saw a very friendly and helpful receptionest who offered me a seaview upgrade for 12e a night. As once it's dark you can't see the sea anyway I opted for the view over the lively town square. My double room for single use was spacious and immaculately clean with a huge terrace and sunbedsThere is a nice... More

This is a gem of a hotel. Initially we were give a room with balcony at the side of the hotel, near the front but opted to change for a supplement to the back of the hotel. The rooms to the front echo the sounds from the street and town square. If you're not fussy about this, the rooms are... More

My second visit to Medano Hotel. Yes,it has it's limiations: lack of Air Conditioning and a relatively limited choice at breakfast being the main negatives, but the situation of this hotel and the helpfulness of the staff override any misgivings I might have. Roman and the Reception Staff make me look forward to visiting the Hotel again. They could not... More

Just returned from this hotel. As it was my 50th Birthday, we asked to upgrade to their "Superior Room". In all honesty, in any other hotel this would be a basic room, so I would have hated to see the size of the basics rooms here. El Medano, the town, was a lovely little place, plenty of bars and restaurants... More
