Perfect location, yummy breakfast, but most of all...Nigel is a fabulous host! So happy we chose to stay here the first two nights of our vacation, especially after our long haul from the US... If we find our way back to Tenerife, we will stay here again! :o)

El Medano is like going back to Spain about 30 years ago!! Beautiful, unspoiled beach and village. The B & B was full for the 6 nights we were there but Nigel offered us a lovely little villa just 2 doors away. The villa was clean and private and just a few steps away from the pool. Nigel was so... More

Our first stay was perfect as we had a room facing the ocean, so it was nice and quiet. Very good breakfast! For our second visit we stayed in a similar room but facing the mountains, which is OK. But we have been very annoyed with the three dogs of the neighbors which were constantly barking. So we need to... More

The fine B&B with terrace overlooking the ocean is located somewhat outside the centre of El Medano, giving it al the rest you need for a relaxing holiday. It also has a beautiful swimming pool with a wind-free corner :-). The owner Nigel was extremely friendly, serving us breakfast with a smile and giving us goods tips about walking, where... More

Just returned from a very relaxing break at las dunas and can not recommend the accommodation enough, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed Nigels company and breakfasts, spoilt for choice at breakfast, yumm, a short walk to Medano and stopping for a pick me up at the hotel or shopping in the supermarket. Enjoyed Medano for its Spanish culture... More

We had a great time at Villa Las Dunas. Nigel is the best host!! As the B&B rooms were too small to fit in both us and our 2 babies, we rented the villa next door. Yet we could still ask Nigel to arrange anything for us! A nice breakfast, car rental (delivered at the villa!), taxi, ...

We wanted a relaxing holiday, nothing fancy, just lounge by a pool and head out for food and few beers at night, and that is exactly what we got. Villa Las Dunas actually offered better quality than most of the hotels we have stayed in in the Canaries. As mentioned before, we don't go for fancy, but we want clean,... More

This was our first trip to the Canaries and were very pleased with our choice of accommodation and resort. Villa Las Dunas is an informal, pretty, tranquil place in a quieter part of town - we often had the pool and patio to ourselves. Nigel, your host, can't do enough for you, he is a lovely guy. The breakfast which... More

We stayed at this B&B for 4 nights in mid-February. We booked in advance and had a timely an friendly email response with a good guide to finding the house. Nigel, the host, was great - friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The B&B is described as luxury, but in fact it was fairly basic. A clean... More
