What words describe our hosts, Theresa and Philip, at Puech de la Borie in Trevien? Welcoming, warm, genuine, friendly, and most gracious. Our room, pictured on their website, was exactly as shown -- neat, clean and with refreshments awaiting our arrival. The meals prepared by both Theresa and Philip were most enjoyable, only being exceeded by the warmth of our... More

Theresa and Philip have a lovely property nestled deep in the French countryside, and welcomed us like old friends. We stayed two nights on a business trip in February. The room was delightful, beautifully appointed, and every need had been catered for. Theresa had thoughtfully provided lemon slices for my tea, and boiled sweets in the room, to accommodate my... We stayed for 2 nights with Philip,Theresa and Jack in July, and could not have been made more welcome - a part of the family ! Our every need was catered for, from drinks on arrival and a lovely meal to a beautifully decorated spotless room . The garden and pool are lovely and great to come back to after a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in August but wish we could have stayed for longer. We were travelling with our 2 children aged 14 & 10 in the family room - the room was spotless, and there was plenty of space. We were given iced water in our room on arrival, as well as a tea/coffee tray & complimentary... More

We had the pleasure of staying with Theresa & Phillip and their son Jack in July of this year for one night. We were a party of four adults and three children. They have hospitality to a T. From the moment we arrived after a long drive our every need was catered for. The accomodation was second to none, comfortable,... More

This is the kind of place that actually makes you feel sorry for people in five star hotels. They'll never experience the kind of warmth and welcome you'll get from people like Teresa and Philip - and of course their son Jack, a fine young man. We arrived with our 10-month-old baby and they couldn't have been more helpful. You... More

We stayed at Puech de la Borie for 3 nights and had the most wonderful time. The accommodation is superb, the bedrooms tastefully decorated, clean and cool with thoughtful touches, such as ice cold water in the room on our return every evening from days during which we had endured 35+ degrees temperatures! Wonderful continetal breakfast offering far more than... More

I would highly recommend Puech de la Borie whether you are after a peaceful retreat or a base to sample the wonderful Tarn area. The rooms are great, and the food is to die for. A family run b&b with excellent facilities.

This small B&B run by a friendly British couple is ideal budget accommodation if you want seclusion & relaxation in the Tarn/Aveyron areas of southern France. Owners Phillip & Theresa couldn't have been more welcoming - they took us on a day excursion and drove us to a local dolmen (look it up!). Their local knowledge and advice were very... More

the owners were so welcoming, it was as if we have known each other for long. If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy the sun as well as good food, then this will be the right choice for you. The lady cooks great food like a chef, you wont have to go to a restaurant at... More
