For the very kind and always helpful family who manages it, for the beautiful view from the hotel, for the cleaness and beauty of the rooms, for its location with near (by foot!) beautiful beaches and very good tavernas........Adamastos is unique and special from infinite point of views!! I strongly raccomand it, the permanence in the hotel was wonderful, and... More

This was our second stay in Santorini, this time in a different location than the first stay. We expected Akrotiri to be calm as it is away from the fuss and crowds of Fira and Oia, and it really did the job in providing a nice, relaxed area with completely sufficient services (a few supermarkets, tarvernas, car rental, ATM etc).... We stayed at Adamastos in the beginning of July. An excellent and affordable hotel for those who seek the calm and the beauty of Santorini . Akrotiri at the southern edge of the island were the hotel is located is perhaps less attractive and stunning than Oia and Fira but it is close enough to these places by bus (15... More

This was our second stay at Adamastos Hotel with Yannis and Maria. And once again, it was the perfect stay. In the quaint, quiet village of Akrotiri the hotel is a short car ride away from many beaches and the Island Capital, Fira. It is also just a short stroll from the cities restaurants filled with traditional food and delicious... More

Yannis and Maria Adamastos built this lovely hotel in the early 90's and we stayed there the first time in 1995. On our most recent visit we were travelling with another couple, and wanted to arrange accommodation prior to arriving by ferry the following day. A quick phone call from Athens ensured Mr. Adamastos had two rooms and would meet... More

An amazing experience on the lesser seen side of Santorini, the Adamastos hotel is a quiet, authentic setting nestled in the vineyards and history of Akrotiri. Red beach and the Byzantine ruins are just down the road and the setting is blissful, quiet and family-run. This is not a chic, cliff-side stay in Fira or Ia but moreover feels more... More

The quaint Adamastos is located on the southern end of Santorini- in Akrotiri- the archaelogical centerpiece of the island. The rooms have a basic meditteranean feel and stay cool in the hot summer weather. They also each have their own private balconies which overlook arid vineyards. Another highlight of the location other than its proximity to the archaeological site is... More
