Absolutely wonderful place! Went there with 25 kids (aged 12-13) and a few parents and everything worked perfectly. A bit different venue for meetings in a lakeside surroundings. Good food - delicious elk for dinner, Huge fireplaces. I slept really well in a room with own bathroom in a cottage with fireplace, sauna and terrace with scenery to the lake.

The second time I visited Jarvisydan was 23rd Mar 2011 - this time by battending to a seminar. The place, the atmosphere, secenery - specially the food and fireplace once again made the experience...

I took part in a seminar and didn´t know anything about the place before and it took my heart. I will definitely come again here on vacation/holiday for longer period. Food was great, staff too. True to the gorgeous nature of Finland Jarvisydan lies in the heart of Lakeland. Natural stone, wood, candles, open fires and medieval theme give you the sense of relaxation. Food is absolutely amazing, special ladies drink makes your cheeks glow... Promise of savusauna and swim in the icy lake awaits! This is the place to come!!

We stayed for one night, and the quality of the rooms in the cabins was a positive surprise. Also the service was very good and friendly, the Middle Ages theme cave restaurant was beautiful and had very good food! The landscape is a bit tricky if one is having a family celebration with festive clothes and shoes... :)
