I selected this resort based on internet recommendations for my wife’s 50th birthday. She wanted private white sandy beaches and pampering. I have to say that she got her wish and more. The room, exactly what you would expect for a high-end island getaway. Roomy, inviting, relaxing. Bath products are top-notch. In-room coffee is Italian Espresso. A liter of bottled... More

I have just spent 8 days with my daughter at the Cap Est Resort, for us it was paradise. Good service, peaceful venue, NO MOSQUITOS (end of March). We had a junior suite, no 230, looking out over the lagoon. We used all the hotels facilities, both restos, bar, pool, spa, beach. We found the relation between quality/price to be... More

Dear Sir, I am really surprised by your message and wonder whether you really stayed in our property or not. The rooms division Manager is british, all of the staff speak a very good english. We have not received any French Journalist in February, and moreover, there could certainly not be any "discrimatory" service. The Hotel is a 5* proprety,... More

We were doubtful about staying in this establishment, mostly because it is very pricey. We could afford it, but we are not splurgers or only exceptionally so. For complicated reasons revolving around a health situation, we opted for a last-minute, one week stay the Le Cap Est and actually ended up having a very memorable experience. The views were outstanding,... More

Dear Sir, Thank you so much for your kind message It is nice to hear that you spent a wonderful time at Cap Esot Resort, that you enjoyed the magnificence of the view, the kindness of the staff. In the middle of Martinique's rural area, Cap Est is a oasis of beauty and privacy, facing a beach with white sand, wonderful water and a distant coral reef as landscape. I like the atmosphere, the mood, the service. All you can expect from this kind of hotel. Great for couples or singles looking for peace and privacy. Just do... More

Remote. Aging. Spotty service. Poor value. In fairness its not all their fault. The economics of Martinique make tourism virtually impossible to achieve at a competitive price vis a vis neighboring islands: expensive island economy (imported materials / food / very high local taxes); staffing is very expensive and thus maintenance is too; the poor local service culture (front desk... For the 2nd year in a row, we spent one week in the beautiful Cap Est. I really love the warm colors and the site itself. This time we took the Suite Executive and were at ease. Great service, we loved the breakfast. Nice pool and the Campeche is a good place when hungry after a swim. Try as well... More

We stayed there in March 2013 and really enjoyed it. Our suite was on the first floor overlooking the beach and we loved having breakfast on the balcony with cute birds around. The room spacious and well laid out. Good air-conditioning. The staff was very helpful with organising car hire and with general advice. We had very nice cocktails in... More

Our second year island hopping in the Caribbean and Martinique was a shock - "France on Sea" we thought, but with banana groves and sugar cane fields. A very commercialised busy island that is thus less "Caribbean" as a result. Le Cap Est is a perfectly good hotel. Our room (210) was lovely and enjoyed good views of the sea... More

The hotel had very much french service. The tennis court was odd shaped. Wonderful wine and dinner. The fresh squeezed orange juice is the best! I loved the menu. Beach was OK but not spectacular. More for food and dining.
