Arrived on Sunday the hotel deserted. Had to go to local shop to ask if they knew where we could contact any staff. The shop assistant came with us to the hotel and searched for some keys and our booking which she could not find anywhere. Eventually she showed us to a room which was the highlight of our arrival... I have just opened Trip Adviser to write a review of the Aegina Hotel where I stayed last week and read the review by Melissa M - I think she sums it up perfectly. The owners make this place a gem - very welcoming, helpful and delivering a great breakfast! The rooms are simple and clean. The value proposition was... More

Aura & Victor are wonderful hosts, very friendly, and helpful, you are treated like family, not tourists. They speak fluent English, French and of course Greek, have lived in Aegina for many years, and are a good source of information. Victor is also an artist and has his paintings and jewelry on display. The hotel is ideal, very clean, rooms... More

My partner and I stayed at Aegina Hotel last month and we can't wait to go back. The hotel itself is beautiful and very in-keeping the typical architecture of the island. Our room was clean and bright, boasting a fantastic sea view. The absolute highlight of the stay was the hospitality of Aura and Viktor, who were simply wonderful. For... More

Single fella traveling around Greece. Aura and Viktor were extremely nice and accommodating, aiding me in my quest to see all that must be seen in Aegina and surrounding islands, providing bicycles, 4-wheelers, beach towels and breakfast at non-breakfast times. The rooms are very clean and offer amazing views of the water. Viktor's artwork is also a must see, even... More

Last year in May we were first time in this hotel and this year we selected it again without reservation beforehand. It is located only two hundred meters from the port and the city center, but the area is quiet. The host couple Aura and Victor are very nice and helpful persons and we liked our visiting there very much.... More

I was in Aegina many times. At Aegina Hotel I stay last time with my wife and 11 years old sonf6. This hotel is an oasis of calm just far enough of a walk from the noisy port center of the island a short trip from Piraeus with ferry or hydrofoil. It's a well positioned, just a short walk into... A small but friendly hotel located a short walk from the marina, 'Aegina' provides one of the best quality/price ratio. Do not expect luxury fittings, but basic and clean rooms; the AC is excellent as it becomes extremely warm in the afternoon. For a few EUR you can have a good continental breakfast or can arrange for half or full... More

I was in Aegina last autumn. It was a long wished-for trip and I was not wrong for expecting the best. The hotel was very nice, close to the beach and to the center of the town and the hosts made us feel welcome and were very helpful. I especially liked the view from our room. From one of the... More
