Hotel Kyma is a very nice hotel on a historical building left from I.World War. We stayed in December 2014 for one night. When you enter the door you feel the history itself with its beautiful architecture and the warm atmosphere with a gentle welcome of the hotel owner Theodore. The hotel is old but the rooms are very clean... More

Hotel Kyma is an old hotel with a very nice location and a nice view. The hotel owner Theodore is very kind and helpful. He gives useful tips for discovering the island and the restaurants. The breakfast in the hotel was simple yet delicious.

The only positive thing I can say about this Hotel Kyma is that the owners are very nice people. The building is very old, and needs a major overhaul. All the wind from the outside is blowing into the rooms. There is a jacuzzi in the bathroom, but there are no shower curtains. All metal equipment in the kitchen and... More

My wife and I stayed here in April this year, just before Easter and just before heading off in a hire car to explore the island and stay a few nights in the stone village of Avgonima. It was our first stop on the Greek islands after crossing from Turkey and what a fabulous place to spend our first days... More

This is a renovated historic building in the center & really close to port. You can reach central restaurants, cafe and etc. by walking just in 10 minutes. The hotel owner Theodore is so polite and friendly person. He is trying to help for anything. Breakfast is really delicious & everything is home made staff. Negative thing is just isolation... More

Stayed for 3 nights in June. This place isn't perfect, but the idiosynchrases are more than made up for by the knowledge and helpfulness of Theo, the owner. The room was comfortable and functional with a comfortable bed and air con. WiFi was good too. The breakfast was a bit basic, but there was a reasonable range of options and... More

I had the opportunity to visit Chios with my wife and 8 years old daughter this summer in late August 2013. We had searched for hotels on internet and ended up finding Hotel Kyma (after reading so many good & positive reviews about its location and ofcouse the "owner" Theodore)! We were lucky to stay in this hotel and meet... More

I have stayed in Hotel Kyma many times during my many travels to Chios island with my family. Without doubt the foremost quality of Kyma is the hospitality of the dear host Mr. Theodor. Mr. Theodor provides a comfortable, homelike atmosphere so you never feel like a stranger as one usually feels in other hotel lobbies and rooms. You are... More

Kyma is a renovated Italian mansion with an added on modern wing a few blocks from the embarkation point at the harbor and town center right on the seaside. Hotel has regular amenities but excellent service. Spordilis family takes care of every need you may have in an elegant way. Breakfast is open buffet and contains very carefully selected or... More
