We were literally kicked off, intimidated, bullied and ridiculed just because of our complaints. Hostal San Telmo is not, I repeat NOT a place to stay. I didn't have this kind of terrible experience in any of the hostels or hotels I stayed. I read the review of others that they say its a clean place. not at all!!! place... More

Stayed here alone in April, not the best time to visit Mallorca anyway but the hostel didn't make it any easier. The common room was shabby and not very inviting so no one was ever in there which made it extremely hard to get chatting to other guests. There are 2 dogs roaming around which made the reception and common... More

It's a nice place to stay an begin visit Palma, from there you can take any bus to visit the beaches. The owners are kind and can help you to organize your trip. Clean rooms but without air conditioning, nice swimming pool, definitely a small and simple place to sleep, don't look at it as a classic hotel, it's not.... More

The room we stayed in didn't have anything to do with the pictures you see when making a reservation - small, dark, old, smelly, small bed with a terrible old mattress, noisy - we could hear the neighbors and everything what was happening close to the pool. No fan, no bed lights for reading, to use the safe box you... More

All the previous reviewers were right : when you go to Hostal San Telmo, don't expect luxury, but basic rooms with basic facilities. It's just a place to sleep during the night and spend the day elsewhere, on the beach etc. Yes, it's true it smells the dogs, but not so much- it remains acceptable and the dogs are nice.... More

We were taking the ferry to Barcelona and needed somewhere affordable and close to the port to spend the night. This hostel fits the bill; a room with a tight little balcony and an interesting view, the large dogs guarding the entrance aside, we had a good night's sleep, with a few bars and a decent pizzeria next door. It's... More

Maybe I was lucky out of season, but I had a good-sized room with (Spanish) tv. The hillside location at the end of a cul-de-sac means no disturbance from traffic. There's a pool which I imagine could be noisy, but it's not in use in October; meanwhile, the poolside loungers are still available to flake out on. If you dont... More

What I have probably missed when booking this hotel (one night stay) is that this is a hostel. You will first climb steep hill and then steep stairs. If you are lucky you'll get a chance to meet nice owner' dog. Rooms are very basic, but clean. Furniture is as simple as it gets. Also don't expect air-condition there, it... More
