Generally when we go for jungle safaris in the remote corners, in rural set up, we do not have much expectations about amenities, facilities & especially SERVICE. But Mahua vann resort near Pench National park in M.P. sprang a pleasant surprise. Though the cottages are spread over to quite long distances from office/reception & dining hall, I was surprised to... More

The rooms make you feel like you are staying in a tribal community. Tranquil serene and scenic. We developed good rapport with the manager mr Manavendra who has knowledge of birds and mr Shaam who attends the cafeteria. Food was very good. Choice of food is limited considering the remote location but taste and hospitality was excellent. They give you... More

Mahua Vann Resort was another weekend getaway from Mumbai. Pench is a beautiful jungle and Mahua Vann Resort takes you as close to nature as you can comfortably be. However, if you are looking for a luxury resort - this is not the place for you. The rooms are large and cool with the mud walls. The staff is very... More

Lovely beautiful property, very well maintained with dinning hall decorated with heritage furniture. The rooms are excellent, spacious and complete value for money. Food is excellent. Mr. Pawan was the manager of the place who is very mindful about the requests by the guests. It has a beautiful campus and one really feels amidst woods with the kind of ambiance... More

Before planning a holiday with family, I explored all possible properties, however important was to balance the services offered and tariff package offered. After spending two nights, I am happy that I chose this property. Delicious food, friendly & knowledgeable staff, clean rooms, over all good property, especially when compared with value charged.

This is not the resort for serious nature lovers. It is far from Turia gate of Pench National Park. The management has compensated this shortcoming through keeping bush here and there inside the premises. As a result common area has uneven growth of grass and other trees which gave it a weird look. Cottages are big but not properly maintained.... More

Dear Sir, Many thanks for your review and feedback, we really appreciate it and it gives us an opportunity to improve. We were a bit surprised that you mention that this is not a resort for serious nature lovers since it is far from the Park Gate. The promoters are themselves serious nature lovers and this property was chosen because... More

stayed here during my trip to india in december. The road to the pench forest from nagpur was just horrible, but when we reached the resort, i was pleasantly surprised at the location and the green grounds and well maintained trees around. I was told to see Pawan there and he was waiting for us. we took adjacent two newer... More

Perfect place to stay. Huge rooms, very polite staff. We were a group of 20-30 people who had visited Mahuaa Vann in December 2013. It was quite cold, although the journey was quite an adventure, once we reached the Resorts we were greeted with so much warmth. The staff here immediately started serving us wonderful kabab's to beat the cold.... More

Mahua Vann is a boutique hotel nestled in the buffer zone of the Pench National park and about 3 kms from Turia Gate, the entry point of the park. An 8 year old property, the staff is very very good and modest. Perfect hospitality and the best price. The vegetarian food is lip smacking so I dont need to describe... More
