Hotel needs proper staff who are efficient in work and who can understand in English. Food was not worth for the price.few items were in the buffet. No tasty at all.It was really good hotel few years back now totally neglected by the management.Need proper cleaning for public common areas.

Good hotel with clean spacious rooms and bathrooms. Lighting within the hotel and rooms was a little dim. Nice pool area. Hotel is in a convenient location for Yalla National Park. Meals were buffet style with a reasonable selection of both local and continental dishes. Nice bar area upstairs with a selection of cocktails and a pool table.

We stayed at the Rosen because of a good deal we got of a credit card. The rooms were good, spacious and had Air conditioning. The bathrooms were big but smelled bad, in one of the rooms the bathroom shower water did not drain out. The living spaces were confusing. It seemed like you had to walk through a maze... More

I can agree with the reviewer who said this place was designed by someone with megalomaniac tendencies. My room in the villa building at the far end of the hotel was enormous but in all the wrong ways. There is a separate sitting area with small windows that overlook a fountain, armoire and bench for your suitcase in the entryway... More

Nice hotels with spacious, clean and very comfortable rooms. We did not expect as much, it was very good. Pool is great as well as you can also enjoy the sub marin music that is very nice and fun. Concerning food, this was more mitigated as it is a big hotel for a lot of tourists so the restaurant is... More

We were pre-warned by our tour agent not to expect to much from certain hotels in Sri Lanka particularly those in more remote areas and this definitely made it easier for us to accept the shortcomings of this hotel. The rooms are too large which makes it a tough job for the worn-out air conditioner. Poor lighting throughout the hotel... More

The hotel was in a convenient location and easily accessible to the Yalla National Park. The rooms set up and structure was good, rooms were spacious and clean, well maintained. Basic amenities were taken care of. Buffet had a good variety with a combination of local and continental spices. Overall a very good experience. Counter staff was friendly and welcoming.

Stayed for 1 night during my vacation in sri lanka, check in was okay smooth and room were big but slight outdated as seems so big room with lack of basic stuff, AC was poor and bed location was odd, bathroom was good instead of room that's odd, food was mess and had way 3 or 4 option to order... I was expecting better from a hotel like this. The rooms are big but it lacks quality and need to be maintained. The restaurant is good. The pool is big but it doesn't looks good - funny water color. NOTE: It's impossible to sleep without air conditioned.

We spent only one night in this hotel during our round trip through Sri Lanka. Everything was fine overall, but there are still some areas where the hotel could make improvements: Why were the beds separated in a couple's room - one thing we didn't understand?! Unfortunately, the electric kettle and the shower door were damaged - the management should... More
