Lovely hotel overlooking the sea and swimming pool. Friendly staff, good service with an outlook of the Saronic Gulf that is stunning. The buffet food was excellent every evening with a good variety. The hotel was very clean and our rooms were cleaned every day. Wifi was limited to the lobby which was the only negative. So many places to... More

Nothing special. Old hotel, not very clean. We weren't impressed neither from the rooms nor from the swimming pool and restaurant. The sea nearby wasn't really good. Much better if we had gone to Loutraki.

A second visit, following my visit in 2009. Clean room, clean bed linen which is #1 priority. Get room 319 -- it is on the top floor at the far end, overlooking the Saronic Gulf. Wifi does not reach the room, but it is strong in the beautiful lobby, so it's not a terrible burden The dinner and breakfast buffets... More

I went there with my friend for a weekend 3/10/2014. but the beach wasn't hot as we expected to. but the manager Mariana and her staff was absolutely brilliant they could not have been so helpful, We decided that we wanted to see corothina then go to Athens city. Marina went out of her way to take us to corthina... More

Just spent eight days here and must compliment the staff Yes the Wi-Fi can be a pain but I could not find fault with anything else The views are lovely and having a car at our disposal meant that we could day trip to Athens, Corinth and Delphi without any bother The food was good and if you ordered from... Writing this as we sit waiting for our flight home after our first holiday together. The hotel and staff had us feeling like we were home from home the minute we arrived. We were actually gutted to not have got to say bye to Ria before we left.Very clean, modern and has a great pool, pool bar, beach taverna and... More

We stayed at the Kalamaki for ten nights and used it as a base for our adventures all over the Peloponesse area. We knew going in that they book weddings, parties and baptisms on the weekends, but even though there were three the weekend we stayed, we honestly never heard them unless we were near the lobby or on the... We visited the hotel during the last week in August and had a great holiday. The location is fantastic and the grounds are very well maintained. There were plenty of sunbeds available and there was no "swarm" to reserve them either, unlike other places we have visited. There was a real calm and relaxing atmosphere around the place. Always the... More

Unfortunately I agree with the previous reviewer. This is still a good family resort and a lovely location. I don't agree with his view on decor: mid-century Eastern Block is becoming quite chic. The breakfasts are NOT bad--I don't eat breakfast generally, but I did see that there are many offerings including fresh fruit, eggs scrambled and hard-boiled, bacon and,... More

With apologies to all the hugely friendly staff, this place is a massive disappointment. Although the concept of four stars does of course mean different things in different places, a pretty universal idea would include edible breakfasts and working wi-fi in at least some part of the hotel, and here we have neither. The truth is that this is a... More
