We stayed for one night here on our way from Oslo to Andalsnes to break the journey. Was a bit disappointed by the room for the price we paid- very small room with an uncomfortable bed/ The breakfast and common areas (bar and lounge) were quite cosy. The dinner was highly overpriced for the quality even for Norway.

I found this hotel on my way to Fagerlund. I wanted to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 5. I really loved it. The staff is very nice, very professional. Charming building, very good, clean rooms. Breakfast, wifi, and parking is included. Breakfast is more than satisfactory, nice buffet, good selection. Also, the hotel has a fitness center including... More

We had a nice size room in cottage style. Every thing was old but well maintained. On the plus side you find the heated outdoor whirlpool. On the downside. Do not expect ANY privacy or luxury. We could literately hear the neighbor guests sneeze in their room and follow their conversation. Breakfast......just skip it. Your health deserves better!!!!

This place was great, very quiet as I was there in early June and it is a ski hotel. Great atmosphere though even with just a few residents. Beds are funky (pretend 4 poster) and comfy, staff where very friendly and the food was very good. The setting is unreal, the top of the mountain, the river flows away in... More

As part of a Tourist trip from Ålesund to Bjorligard, we stopped at Bjorligard for lunch. The restaurant was reserved for 4 coaches, each approx 44 people in each coach, This worked very well and I understand that all visitors were very satisfied.

We stayed at Bjorligard for one night on our travel south. The (ski) environment is great, high up in the mountains. We loved the way up (and the drive further south to Lillehammer). The lobby and welcome at the hotel is great. (Norwegian speaking staff is rather an exception now a days). Breakfast was more than ok with plenty of... More

We spent one night in Bjorli on our way from Geiranger to Oslo. When we checked-in in the late afternoon, it felt like we were the only ones there. The lobby and bar area was interesting and had a ski lodge feel. As others have posted, this is a ski town, not a summer place. We tried a hike, but... More

Bjorligaard is situated near a skiresort, and most probably is visited less i summer, when we arrived. It has motellike rooms that opens both from the corridor inside the hotel as well as out to the parking lot. This made a very good solution, as we came on bikes, and could park directly outside each room. The number of staff... More

We were the only guests staying in the hotel and it was obviously out of season and the weather made it a bit bleak - it was after the ski season and before their summer season. It is situated on a high plateau and it is mainly a ski area. The hostel is 2 minutes walk from Bjorli station on... More

The hotel from outside seemed higher class than the rooms were. Nevertheless for one stay at summer (off-season for Bjorli) it was good - we've got small apartment with living and sleeping room. The bathroom was also quite spacious. The furnishing was a little bit old, but not so bad. The receptionist were very kind.
